Imo this anime has/had all the potential to be right up there with great works like Ghost in the Shell or Yu Yu Hakusho. Unfortunately, this series was/is plagued with being RIDICULOUSLY short. I really hope they someday come out with a second or even third season.

Season 2-Resurrection of the Kowloon King

Season 3- Final Confrontation with Cassa (with Jirou passing on the Sage's blood to Kotaro to beat Cassa in the end)

It was just my take on things. Jiro could likely fit a hook up with Mimiko within 2 seasons. Imo Jiro giving Kotaro back Alice's blood would be a really great way to end it if they added 2 more seasons. It would be great,

In the final confrontation Jiro is losing against Cassa. Jiro gives Kotaro (who should be a bit older now) back Alice's blood and Kotaro's hidden side (Alice) awakens. Kotaro/Alice defeats Cassa, taking revenge for Cassa's betrayal of Alice and Jiro.
