pretty or not, it doesn't relly matter. As long as your right on the spot when the shooting takes place. If you compare Jennifer to most other girls this cycle, she has one of the natural beauty. She really doesn't need makeup to look decent. Other girls look dead as heck.

she is unattractive. i don't know why they picked her as the asian model. but she was really annoying in the premiere too. but i think that for this cycle, they DID make it short but they made sure to pick the ones with the craziest baggage on them. i mean cmon, bloody eyeball, castrates cow, girl who walks like a linebacker, etc. i mean, this asian girl was really annoying, really screamy, and really not that attractive. all she is.. is under 5'7". applause.

In China, Japan, Korea, this girl would be hailed as ugly. And yes, I know that this is AMERICA'S Next Top Model, but the reason unattractive faces like hers (e.g. Sandra Oh, Cho Chang from Harry Potter, Gina from cycle 6, etc. etc.) are chosen by Western media over beautiful faces like Shu Qi and Song Hye Gyo, girls at Hong Kong fashion week, etc. etc. is a result of colonialism and postcolonial media (you know, the "me love you long time" crap). How sad.

Girls like Sandra Oh and Gina Choe look extrememly "typically" Oriental though, so yeah, in America, they do get work as they aren't the American norm. However, Shu Qi and Song Hye Gyo look, in my opinion, pretty much Caucasian with slightly darker features, hence why they are perhaps more popular in a country like China where almost every native girl looks Oriental. Something out of a countries cultural norm is usually considered beatiful.

I saw her photo on the first episode. To say the least, she has A face. Might not be THE face but she has characteristics of what the modeling world wants ie cheekbones and the linings of the face. Yea, if she were to win this, there's a question of whether she'll be accepted in the modeling world. That question actually applies to EVERYONE this cycle. As compared to former Asian models on this show, she's showing me quite the goods that former Asian contestants never gave. She's the best so far
