Too bad this does not sound remotely like an actual guitar. Modeling guitar sounds, and especially chords and acoustic, are very difficult and they still have a long way to go before it's realistic. My advice: buy an actual guitar and learn to play!

This is easily the best app available on the Iphone/Ipod Touch. I orignally pirated it but it was so good that I bought it just out of respect for the legends who made it. It's fantastic! I put on songs like Moonshield by In Flames on it and now I can play it wherever / whenever I like! :D

Yup! The full version iShred can be programmed with "Fret" buttons that reveal a fret board for solos, melodies, harmonies, etc. You can even do pitch bends on it.

If the full version of iShred, you can any custom "User Chord" you want to your songs. (User Chords are not available in the lower-priced iShred LE.)

They both include effects. iShred LE allows a couple effects at the same time while you can have more with the full iShred.

It works great on the iPod touch, too. On the 1st gen iPod touch you need to use headphones since it doesn't have speakers.

IMHO, best iPhone software available. I own Korg PA80, and his guitars are poor compared this stuff. "Must have" for every musician! Very easy to play, and strong "wow" effect when I'm playing this "guitar" in front of my friends...
