  • Good video, for some reason after watching that I want some ecstacy, meth and some glow sticks....

  • MASSIVELY ANNOYING INTRO MUSIC ALERT!!!

  • let me just pull the pump out of my ass real quick. back in a minute

  • So the video got 55 dislikes just for the music right? Cause everything you're doing seems correct.

  • whats the bleeding sequence for a mercedez 1991 300e ? can some one help me plz.....

  • People don't know about gravity bleed. You can bleed brakes just by opening up all 4 valves and waiting for like an hour.

  • Helpful video. The music didn't bother me bro.

  • what if, after replacing a wheel cylinder, there is little to no fluid going into the wheel cylinder?? what's going on down there?!?!

  • is it true your not supposed to take the cap off the master cylinder for long periods as brake fluid just absorbs the air and can affect the performance of your brakes?

  • @leecfc1888 It doesn't absorb air so much as it absorbs the water present in the air(humidity).

  • i have a 1970 mustang! disc brakes on the front and drum brakes in the back! does this method work for me??? i dont know a lot about cars :(

  • @neoholland This will work on all cars. drum or disk. front or back

  • bro i have to give it to you, this video was very unhelpful!

  • what a scary ass jack

  • video hepled me thanks

  • Music is good.

  • What is the difference between bleeding the brakes and flushing the brakes? Video does not make it clear and when one may be needed over the other.

  • @bdfoshager bleeding is just getting air out of the line and flushing flushing is replacing the fluid altogether with new fluid when it gets to dirty

  • ONE QUESTION...........since AIR flows Up much easier than it flows down .........why doesnt people bleed from the master cylinder instead? why doesnt the air go to the master anyway.

  • can u bleed breaks without a pump

  • Man that was a hell of alot of air lol. I like the music, reminds me of Tekken

  • THE MUSIC IS VERY OBNOXIOUS

  • Which Nintendo game does this music come off of?

  • @johnheather1 It's from a guy named Lain Trzaska (aka she). Check out the site in the video description ... but, nintendo game music is great!

  • @johnheather1 This is better than nintendo music even.

  • Is the master cylinder cap on or off during the the whole bleeding process except when adding fluid

  • @mandobizar keep the cap off during the bleeding, it'll help suck the fluid out

  • @laughster I was told to keep the cap on so air doesn't enter the line and also if the cap is off then there's no pressure to push the fluid out of the brake line.

  • Music was great! - Kudos for the song!

  • no good to vac the fluid out

  • Get Rid of the MUSIC

  • Music sounds like the power rangers went to hell.

  • STUPID MUSIC........... Please Delete the MUSIC,,,, if we wanted to hear Music, we go that site...

    MUSIC is Indeed Rediculous awful

    Thank God For Mute

  • should have removed the tires first

  • @JPV1P you don't have to take the wheels off...

  • @The18Jake Exactly, I never remove the wheels on any of my cars just to bleed the brakes. It adds a ton of time to the job. Once the vehicle is jacked up, the bleed screws are easily accessible.

  • @TheAristotleQ you don't necessarily even need to jack the vehicle up either. I just bled my 2 front disks and rear drums without jacking it up.

  • @The18Jake Depends on the vehicle. On my Volkswagen Jetta, there is no way you can get to the bleeders without a jack. On my Nissan Titan, you can just crawl right under the truck.

  • @TheAristotleQ well my 84 towncar was simple to do it to

  • Lose the music.

  • I love the 8-bit music, but don't respects it because it doesn't fit with vehicle repair. At least it isn't a heavy metal song or rap.

  • This was done on a Honda Civic, one from the 96-00 generation. i can tell by the rear LCA's lol.

  • actually music is great. chiptunes rule :)

  • Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music! Shitty music!

  • 1-up for the nintendo 8-bit theme

  • Can we say disco dam I wanna here u work not some shit my granny was bangn in her days

  • this didn't work, don't try it!

  • was all that really fucking nessesary?

  • yea what the point of the music.. annoying as all hell. and for the smartass with the "MUTE" comment... it doesn’t change the music is complete out of place and superfluous on a car repair video.. maybe some helpful commentary instead of the retarded music.. it’s so obnoxious i just stopped the video half way through.

  • Thanks, great video!

  • Commodore Amiga music... :)

  • I'm really diggin the song in this vid, it's great

  • does anyone have any tips for struck bleeder valves on drums, none of my brakes have been touched in 6 years of driving on my mazda b2600, and then i blew the main break line going to the rear. any tips would be greatfull or a link to video would be even better. thanks guys

  • Sorry to bust your bubble but there is no such thing as old compressible brake fluid. All fluids are incompressible by definition. Go back and read your high school chemistry book if you think I am wrong. Even if water is in the old brake fluid, the old fluid will still be incompressible.

  • @CP240sx Once there is water in the brake fluid, hard braking creates heat in the fluid through pressure, this in turn makes the water boil. Once it boils you now have air bubbles. So yeah, fluid doesn't compress, but don't read too literally into what he means. I understood...

  • @striker3523 That makes sense. Thanks for teaching me something new today.

  • Digging the tunes!

  • dude the video is actually very good but you should change the music to you talking us through the process.

  • thanks a lot. i'm readyto try that on my fast bike. squeeze oot the air and the old shite, then top up wi new. nae bubbles like. braw .joe but the musac but gonnie no'

  • thanks a lot. i'm readyto try that on my fast bike. squeeze oot the air and the old shite, then top up wi new. nae bubbles like. braw .joe

  • I'm so sick of fucking video's with all the music bullshit! I just wanna learn how to bleed brakes!

  • According to Mityvac's website the bleeding order is reversed for vacuum bleeding. For FWD vehicles where the brakes are tied together diagonally, it goes FL, RR, FR, RL. Also, you had tons of bubbles still coming out. Their website recommends removing the bleeder and using Teflon tape. Gonna try it tonight/tomorrow to see if it works.

  • @iowawrench

just an update - Teflon tape did the trick. still let in a very slight amount of air, but it actually bled the system which wasn't happening before.

  • ive never heard more creepier music but ok

  • Number 1: Lose the scissor jack. Even with jackstands it's really unsafe. You maxed the thing out completely... very bad.

Number 2: Hard to tell from the quality but it looked like you were raising the vehicle by the floor pan. That little "slit" in the jack is so you can raise it up by a pinch weld that connects the unibody. Another bad thing you did.

Number 3: Combination wrenches? What is wrong with you? Flare nut wrenches ONLY on brake a clutch lines!

  • great video but music has to go!

  • That music made me want to rush right out and bleed my brakes............and kill puppies.

  • sweet music bro, what artist is that?

  • FAKE

  • @TheNiggerBalls yeah !

  • Jesus Christ!!! Stopped watching this after 1 minute b/c of the music!!!!! is so annoying that I didn't even wanted to watch it with the volume on mute.

  • can you flush a car that has ABS the same way? or are there specific precautions you need to take?

  • you spelled brakes rong ha

  • @joshwjr you spelled rong wrong

  • man you pumped gallons through one side

  • Good vid, music was shite though.

  • Great Video but I the music has given me a migraine!

  • BIG NEWS!!! They developed this great feature that allows you to turn off the sound while the video still plays, it's unbelievable, I know. They're calling this feature... "MUTE"

  • @curiousandroid

HAHAHAHA!!! doesnt it get you in the grove tho!!???

  • your bleeding sequence is IMO wrong, you always start with the furthest point which is the right rear, then left rear then right front then left front, that is the way I was taught and hundred of others that I know. Good vid tho even with the dreadfull tunes.

  • effing love the midi track.

  • i gave this video 20 seconds before i just gave up cos of the music!

  • omg this music makes it hard to watch this video, lol!

  • one ghetto jack

  • i did the line to jar method. and works well after changing the master cylinder. i found an extra bleeding point on my bronco just above the front drive shaft. the extra spot was on the antilock moduel.

  • HOw much was the vacum pump?

  • f-in great video - even for the non-mechanical just learning this stuff - because I can't afford to pay $100 and get ripped off !!!

  • I had to mute it, the music was too damn annoying.

  • i have a question laughster when you press on the brake pedal it release the fluid but what happens when you let go of the pedal will it pump the fluid back it? Nice vid btw...

  • music sounds like maniac mansion music lol

  • cool music whats the name of both tracks

  • I didn't watch the clip, but the music was freaking nice!!!!

  • what i do is first pump out all old brake fluid from the bleeder screw to get all the fluid out from the master cylinder to get new in. then i start pumping. it wastes a little more fluid but you know exactly what is new and old fluid then. i used a hand held pump. you can use the machine if you want. just keep pumping fluid through the bleeder screw until you see no air bubbles. make sure you got another person tho pouring new fluid everytime it gets low. other wise air would enetr the system.

  • Nice video whats that song that starts like around 0:26 called pretty badass

  • yeah what is the song name its pretty bad ass.

  • Great vid, thank you.

  • besides ebay where can i get one of these pumps for under $20???

i dont want to spend more than $25 total

    please help me!

    thanks

  • Confused about one thing? How many bottle of brake fluid are you supposed to you use? Do you use one bottle per tire? Where is the brake fluid going once it enters the vacum? Is there a seperate container that catching it? Sorry I'm not a mechanic but learning.

  • u just use whatever you need till there are no more air bubbles that could be 1/2 bottle or 1 bottle it all depends on how much air is in the system

  • @BlackShopan When y ou first start beeding fill it to maximum. After each time you bleed it, just make sure its not near empty. If it gets low, fill it up ato halfway between min and max. Check after every brake you bleed.

When your done, fill it up to 3/4 between min and max :)

  • there is a resivoir on the vacuum pump so the brake fluid goes in there and doesn't mess up ur vacuum pump

  • arent you supposed to pump the brake while the fluid goes in? how can i reduce the chances of bleeding the brakes? it seems to happen to me quite often..

  • best !!! really clear and easy to understand!!!

  • It'd been awsome if you'd have moved your hands and let us see the damn shit

  • how do you determine if your brakes are firm enough? I mean I can press hard on my brake pedal and it will go all way to floor, does that mean i need to bleed my brakes, or that I am just pressing them down too hard?

  • Great video, but for safety reasons I would recommend a hydraulic floor jack. Those are only designed to jack your car up to change a tire a couple of times then they are trash.

  • i kno, get a good floor jack, and think about the kind of music used for a how to video

  • great DIY video, but the music is awful.

  • @SecretSniper67 Actually, I really like the music. Brings me back to some Original Nintendo.

  • Comment removed

  • Great video, thanks this helps a lot!

  • The Thing I hate about the vacuum method is that when you loosen the bleed screw air is allowed to enter through the thread leading you to think that there is air in the lines still.
