  • haha they could at least double it:)

  • Wow, I had never seen this before. How could that be? Thanks a lot for sharing :)!!!

  • He's so TALL. I'm kind of jealous of Lisa, they are such good friends. I wish I was friends with Hugh, he's such a 'gentle giant'.. (Well, to me. I'm 5'1", so he's about 13 or 14 inches taller than me.)... :P

  • they`re so awesome

  • Hugh and Lisa look like a cuple. <3

  • Hugh Is limping a little bit, you can see it when lisa and him show up, and when the video is over, it must be because of fake limping on house :c

Lisa is so sweet (: they are allways together, it's amazing the chemestry between them, I just feel bad fo Jo :|

    Anyways, nice vid (:

  • Aw. I don't ship Hugh and Lisa outside of their characters, but it was REALLY cute how it looked like she laid on his shoulder at 3:15. :)

  • She was explaining how she tripped earlier.

    Retards.

  • traduction please

  • i think she tripped on purpose, cause you can hear her say "and i tripped..." and then she like shows it.

  • I think so as well! ^^

  • I agree with you, her trip looks fake.... but What did she do that? I don´t know, maybe she saw a dollar, jajaja. No, no, this is her way of walking :)

    Any way, She is adorable.

Hey, Hugh! We love you too!

  • Lisa is soooo adorable! She has the cutest laugh and she's so funny and bubbly all the time. She's great! Hugh... Well, god, there are much too many things to say about Hugh!

  • Ok really interesting that two of the main characteres of a Tv show are supporting the writers..I really think the wife is uncomfortble

  • Comment removed

  • OMG! Does Lisa trip over at the end? How cute can one person be??

  • Lisa E. is the best..c:

  • ok!! Thanks =)

  • i luuuuv Hugh's face at 3:10...lol!''we have no words''

  • Whta is Lisa doing at the end?

    Hahahahha

    It's so funny hahah ^^

  • Hugh Laurie is a very humble man despite his great talent. When he got his first Golden Globe he said his father was a REAL doctor and never got the recognition he gets as a fake doctor, and that's not right. Also he values the writers as the key to his character's success. Plus he's a writer himself! Well done!

  • @grafight

I like how both Lisa and Haugh`d fathers are doctors.

  • all these guys are great, so glad the strikes been resolved :)

  • When will season 5 start?

  • on 16th september

  • haha Lisa rocks

  • What was doing Lisa in the end? so fun LOL

This video is so Laudelstein! Love this!

  • Hahahahahahahahaha

Did you see Lisa at the end of the video?

  • I can't believe the moms made the little children march around with them that was horrible! they should have at least had a stroller with them

  • when hugh laurie said sympathetic it reminded meof the spn bender from fry and laurie

  • aren't edelstein and laurie the cutest couple

  • come on! he's maried with 3 kids!

  • *nods head* definitely

  • Cool to see the actors supporting the writers :)

I don't deny that I hate that House is affected by this strike and therefore making us fans suffer for the lack of episodes. But I sort of understand that they have to do this. And it's a good thing that the actors understand it too and they're fully behind the writers on it too.

  • I couldnt agree more. :)

  • Oh.. I don't want them striking! But I understand they have to, and I support them fully!

  • Why is the strike? I am from Hungary and i did't hear the cause. Somebody write me, please! I miss House, too!

  • I miss House !!!

  • wtf are you smoking? I hate almost every show on tv, but House is one of the rare good ones.

  • but the strike already affected house they're hasnt been any new episodes since november 27 :( :( so depressing i love that show

  • house? HOUSE?! WTF!!! YOU HAVE DISSESES TO CURE!!!

  • ^ like dyslexia!

  • son'f bitch. house is striking. Do you know what this means? God damn...

  • I have noticed how closely lisa and hugh were standing to each other especially in the begining. haha! yeah! david shore has given his word that the strike would not affect house and i strongly hope so too. hugh laurie is such a tall, built man

  • Comment removed

  • House is a fantastic show. It's the only show I've actually turned on my T.V. or even thought about scheduling my life around in any way for maybe a decade. It's great because of the acting, the direction, and especially the writing. House is the amazing character he is because of what he says, which is written by professionals who can deliver quality on a consistent basis.

Total props to Hugh and Lisa for supporting the writers.

  • is Right!!!!!

  • At least they're close to making a deal...

  • We'll see...

  • I love Hugh and Lisa so much! They are so great together.

I hope the writers get what they want (b/c hey, they deserve it!) and we can have our beloved series back.

  • I can't believe people this stupid are permitted on line.

  • It's called capitalism. Everything is worth what it's consumer will pay for it. Turns out, people will pay more for entertainment than education. Sure that sounds bad, but that's free-market capitalism, stop whining.

  • Guess what? Envy is not justification.

  • The story would be different if you were a writer and only worked on two episodes an entire year.

    You would be striking, too.

But that's not even the point here. The point is that unions strike all the time, it's just TV this time.

  • That "better talent" will be placed under the constraints of a network just like these writers are. There will be no difference as long as the networks act like editors.

  • Also with these writers on strike, the demands they are placing on the studios will not be met.

  • ..... that's the whole point of a strike.

That demands are not being met.

  • In other words..they will be on strike for a long time!! I have plenty of used DVD's I stuck away to watch so I could not care how long the strike lasts.

  • You know, I find it incredibly telling how, whenever you are given pure logic, you evade having to respond to it.

  • What have I not responded to..

  • The fact that the networks control a large part of shows. Or that you obviously don't know what the point of a strike is in the first place. You just deflect it with humor based on further bashing the writers.

And who WROTE the stuff on your DVDs?

    Hypocrite.

  • It's big business my freind..it's the real world..I am not sure what little fantasy mind fuck your playing with yourself or what world your living in! I never said I did not understand the point of a strike..I have several family members who were part of fuked up unions...And for the record I coudl care less who wrote the material I watch as I never look at the credits to begin with!

  • I go back to the original idea that you're just a guy that wants to watch TV.

    I'm done here.

  • Your comment makes no sense...

  • Well, if you bother to look at my profile, I am a writer, just not in a union or under employ.

But it doesn't take being a writer to support writers. Why do you think so many people support this strike?

  • WTF! Shut the hell up, I can guarantee that you have no talent in acting or writing TV scripts compared to them! Hugh Laurie, Lisa Edelstein, and David Shore have AMAZING talent!

  • I have class right next to Warner Bros. I hope you guys get a mega phone and chant really loud. We like to chant a long with you. Plus it really pisses off the professor.

  • Haha, that's awesome dude!

  • You're the jerk. These people need fair treatment. I miss Stephen and Jon too, but this strike needs to be fairly resolved first.

  • Not only is your opinion completely invalid, but you also messed up the Yiddish?

No. You're not allowed to use Yiddish unless a)you can spell/say it correctly and b)know what it means.

  • Blow me pal

  • hahaha

    you mean shmuck?

  • best things to do then is to support the writers.

  • The only reason I can for your coming back to this page is to jack-off to you're incredible ignorance and moronic idiocy.

"Hayuk-Hayuk!!!... I'ma pissin' people off!! ::splooge::"

Are you not aware that a majority of writers make just about as much as the average American, if not less? Their work is not as steady so they rely on residuals to get by in-between jobs. You are fucking dense if you don't understand that.

  • Wait, let me get this straight. It's not that you think they are overpaid, it's just that you don't care as long as you get TV. Okay, gotcha.

  • Shuddap, troll! The day writers start coming to your job kicking cocks out of your mouth- then you have right to complain. Go crap on someone's elses parade, you shitdick studio exec.

  • I love House so much. The best shows on TV are the ones with the best writing. It is the backbone of every show. Yeah, there is the acting, and the directing, but the core is the writing. You can't possibly have a good TV show w/o good writing. TV is the writer's medium.

    They deserve their share!

  • i dont really get hugh's mouth thing at 3:10 but it's adorable. XP

  • He literally has no words...No writers, no lines.

  • Hugh is so much more then a visitor here now! Come on Hugh, L.A.'s got to be your second home by now and we love having you here!

Hugh's a funny, funny man! Got to love him!

  • It's nice to hear a Cambridge-educated actor. We do need more of his ilk in this town.

  • WGA all the way! I love House, it's the best show on television, but I'll wait for new episodes until you guys get what you have coming to you. I'd march with you if I could afford a plane ticket to LA.

  • Great to say Laurie, Edelstein and Shore on the picket line. Sorry to hear it's somber on the set but glad that there is support for the writers. It's a business based on storytelling so I don't think it's greedy for the storytellers to ask for a fair deal. Everything good about TV and movies starts with a good script.

House fans support the WGA and hope they can get back to work soon. Yay, Hugh and Lisa!

  • Yeah...3 cents for every dollar made? Why stop at asking for 4 cents...let's give them a nickel to satisfy the greed!

  • I agree it was funny. And I guess Lisa wasn't exactly ambarrassed either. She's a funny bunny.

  • She did it on purpose, right before she said "I tripped when I thought of ya'll. I was like... [tripping gesture]."

  • ohh i see..

had to put the volume up to hear it..

  • From when exactly was this clip ?

I thought they had run out of script and already stopped recording on House some time earlier ?

  • I think they got to episode 12 but they want to stretch them out so they are waiting till January to show more. Its hit and miss whether this strike will end before Christmas or even summer.

  • In the first week of the strike, a source said that due to the strike, they'd be heading for 14 eps instead of 24 this season.

As this statement came out pretty quickly, I tend to think it might be right - at least I hope so. 14's better than 12, isn'T it?

  • Stay strong, WGA!

  • Way to go Hugh, boy the writers are gaining more support every day

  • YAAAY HUGH!!! I LOVE HIM! (want him to be my daddy!!!)

  • They are awesome. Instead of enjoying their holiday they decided to help the writers. That's pretty cool!

I think the writers are right, I mean, everything we see on TV is their work!

    GO HUDDY

  • whoot!! if i could, i'd honk!...lol

our tv is getting lame without writters. ^_^ hang in there

  • WE LOVE YOU GUYS!! Hang in there!

  • Kinda strage not seeing House limping along with his cane.

    Solidarity!

  • To the haters out there. If I went up to a street artist who was selling prints for $20 and I wanted to purchase one; am I just going to give the artist .02 and give the other $19.92 to some passing stranger? Then if the artist wished he had at least gotten two more cents- I'd have to look like a big fuking douche if I screamed back at his face for being greedy and find another job if he can't handle it.

  • Oops, wrong math. Correction; $19.98.

  • Ok, let's say you are a content provider. You have a script, your creation that you worked very hard on, your baby, and you pitch it to a studio. The studio, now standing between you, the "artist", and me, the person with $20. Why is this buffer, (a faceless mass of goo) asking that I give it $19.98, and you get .02. You, who did %100 of the work that I enjoy to willfully shell out the $20.00 for.

Isn't there something glaringly wrong with this pecking order?

  • Let take it another step forward.

Now let's say there's another different faceless goo standing between you, the artist, and me, the consumer/fan of your work with $20. I give this new buffer $20, and the buffer then gives you the $20.

What just now happend here? You get 100% and the goo nothing? How? This new buffer? Your website. The internet. Kinda makes one wonder if the studios are crapping their pants at this new form of competition.

  • That "faceless goo" you are talking about took the writers' scripts and marketed them into show, which the networks turned into money. Hey , if you are a writer and you think you can make more money marketing YOURSELF, be my guest.

  • not really. The producers and the studio are the ones who FRONT the money to get the episode from the script to the can. the money to hire the directors, camera people, editors, wardrobe etc. You write the script, come up with all the cash to turn it into a broadcast quality show, go ahead and keep the profits.the writers are a small piece of the large puzzle that the producers put together.

That being said, I think they deserve what they are asking for. It's just that your analogy is flawed.

  • and thats what a strike is for dumbass, to re-negotiate their contracts.

  • Key word being "SOME".

  • The more appropriate word being "very, very few you fucking moron"

  • $500,000 is RIDICULOUS

  • hugh laurie looks the same on-camera and off-camera

  • He's still "on-camera" here.

  • lol

  • You deserve everything and more. Hang in there and stay strong!

  • Asking only .04 per dvd sale, and the studios have a problem with this? Wow, how stingy can the studios get?

  • Very stingy, I remember hearing before he left Disney, Eisner gave himself a 7.5 mil bonus, that could have gone to pay for stuff, thats what these studio execs do, make more money to line their pockets and keep us hard working shlubs down

  • Wouldn't suprise me. I've heard from artists friends that had quit there say Eisner just hated the creative staff. Said something to the extent that monkeys can do what they do. Nice. Couldn't say if that were true, but he certainly does comes of as arrogant and greedy.

Glad to see you enjoy anime, as well. Will have to subscribe to your channel.

  • Well I worked for the Anaheim park for four years and knew quite a few old timers and they all agre he almost ran the company into the ground, and btw, havnt really followed anime since the mid 90s, only got back into it cuz of my niece, still enjoyable though

  • If you're not buying their dvds, why should they give a shit what you think? You bitch a lot about stuff you don't pay for?

  • So you pay for crap and then bitch about it? How big of a retard are you?

  • I buy USED DVD's IDIOT..I have said that before in a comment..are you not fuking capable of understanding that..fuking moron

  • I looked for that comment here. A comment that was made FOUR HOURS ago, backpeddler! I can't predict the future or read your mind if you omit facts! Maybe if you had mentioned before it would have had a different influnce on my responce. Allow me to correct myself.

So you buy USED crap and complain about it? How big of a retard are you? Again, you're not putting money in their pockets, why would you even care less if they get more or not?

  • Hey the BOTH of you shut the fuck up!!

  • Bigjohnnywad-

You have no idea about what writers are paid; most of them aren't paid enough at all.

Also, if you hate writers so much, why buy what they write?

    You're a big stinking hypocrite, I think.

If you despise the industry, don't support it.

    I.E. Practice what you preach.

  • If you're going to insult me, spell my name right.

Who's the bigger pussy here anyway, an 18 year old girl or some 70 year old guy who insults an 18 year old girl?

Also, calling me wet behind the ears?

This coming from a man who has Colbie Callait and Katherine McPhee music video in their favorites?

You listen to the music of a girl less than 18 years old, I don't think you have much room to criticize me.
