mice get fed to snakes all the time, and no one complains. I live in a river town, and you see mice everywhere around the river. They make nice little dens on the banks, and it's not uncommon to see one fall in. Bass are some very opportunistic and aggressive fish. As far as the tank goes, bass live under brush and logs in relatively small areas in nature. I don't think the tank is an issue. Maybe somewhere to hide?
