Not going to touch the 'mocking the deaf' debate. I am viewing this simply for pleasure.

I think one of the reasons this isn't as funny as David Armand is Josh is so much more fluid, and gives equal attention to every single part of the act. I see it as better choreographed, but it's missing the execution of the punchline, and mastery that David has perfected and accentuates in his performances.

I'll say this. I'm deaf, and I clearly took note that this video was taken as a light joke towards the deaf. Obivously he's putting to use his miming talent in this video and those deaf elitists just need to close their hands shut. I am tired of deaf people acting so uptight about their own culture when they need to lighten up and loosen themselves in this "hearing world". I'm deaf, but I take a major part in the hearing world. Chill the hell out, seriously. Also, take grammar classes.

I don't care whether you believe that I'm deaf or not, I grew up learning signed exact english and along with that, I grew up being part of the hearing world, considering I was mainstreamed in regular classes by 2nd grade while every other deaf kid I knew were still in Deaf Ed. classes.

Same problem in Germany.

Deaf people can't seriously integrate in the hearing world because of their thoughts being abandonded by the hearing people. Which is not right. But I don't like the behavior of some deaf people, cause they can't behave like normal people because of their being deaf.

I am heavily hearing impaired, nearly deaf but live in the world of the hearing folks. I speak like the hearing people and wear a Cochlear Implant which helps me to hear and to enjoy music for example.
