  • and don't worry, i'm aware of all the leptin hype and so on and so forth. those leptin diet based are misinterpreting the real role of leptin and are building their diet fundamentals on these misconceptions. what science is showing , is that there is no muscle loss during very low calorie diet combined with resistance training, and there is no muscle loss with intermittent fasting combined with resistance training..

  • you really need to stop believing all the myths that food companies studies and "experts" interpretation use to make you buy their products. there is no such thing as starvation mode, that's just not what science is showing.

  • They burn up, only leaving ash. Eating correctly, taking in your daily amount of essential fats, protein, carbs, and calories, while just eating small meals, that will raise your metabolism. Believe me. It works. The thing is to not "starve" yourself. It's to eat correctly throughout the day. If you eat just one large meal once or twice a week, that food will be burned, yes, but the remaining will be stored as fat. Plus, skipping breakfast and lunch will not give you 0 energy throughout the day.

  • You have to realize dude that's fine and all to fast, but it's unhealthy for your body. My suggestion? Well, eat small meals about every two hours, avoid junk food, your body will literally say "What is going on?" Small meals leads to fat burn. Think of it like a fire, if you fast and just eat dinner, it's like throwing a huge log onto a fire. What happens when the fire is done? You have a charcoal log that didn't burn. Eating small meals every two hours is like putting scraps on a fire.
