@FreQuenczy donkey kong barrel blast was originally for the gamecube. you would use the konga controllers(bongos) to control yr character. that's why the graphics are outdated

The worse part is that Nintendo wanted to make this game on the Gamecube for the use of the bongos. But now that they took too long and the Gamecube had became outdated, not only that the game had to be pushed onto the Wii but they were never able to release Donkey Konga 3 to other continents.

I love Sonic and the secret rings. It's my sixth favorite sonic game. This game reminds me a lot of Diddy Kong racing on the n64. Maybe it's because the balloons have items again. I loved Diddy Kong racing, so I might check this game out.

I'm quite surprised the focus of this game ended up being flying... with jet barrels.

I understand the game's history;

-Rare started work on Donkey Kong Racing;

-Rare left Nintendo and development grinded to a halt;

-The bongos showed up for the GC and the game was brought back to life;

-The GameCube was doing poorly by then, though, and the game moved to Wii.

It has some remnants of the original idea, like racing on the fishes, but the rhinos and giant bumble bees seem gone. :/
