Gullermo Del Toro's The Strain Trilogy and

Kim Newman's Anno Dracula series which is finally being reprinted by Titan.

@1901bellacullen its about a guy called jason freeman who moves to malibu cos his dad got a promotion and he goes to school there and finds that theres a elite group and theyre all vamps, and he falls in love with one of them, sienna, and basically every book's title gives a hint as to what its about, and the storyline in it, buts its a really good series! give it a go! i finished the series in like 2 days!

If you really liked those then you'll definitely need to read the NIGHT HUNTRESS SERIES by JEANIENE FROST. Its really good!! I have read many more series. Also if you like Kerrelyn Sparks series, then you need to read KATIE MACALISTER'S DARK ONES SERIES. Really good too.

I've read the Twilight Saga and The Vampire Diaries series. I think that they are both really good in their own way, Twilight is more romance and friendships/relationships and The Vampire Diaries is scary/romance/exciting. I love both of them, but they are very different (the plot).

What were the other books you recommended, sorry I couldn't read the names, I think it was Stargazer or something?

I personally beilve that twilight is not as interesting as everyone brought it up to be. When I got to about chapter 4 and found out more about Bella's personality, I threw up and couldn't read it anymore.
