Clueless Screech- GM's dont own the teams. They carry out the directives of their boss-the owner. The Rangers & Flyers spent millions and couldn't win a cup. That's worse than showing some fiscal restraint. The Bruins offered Orr a % of ownership & Eagleson didnt tell him-FACT. Try reading-if you know how to.

Don't mess with Kordic!!! :) He was nuts when agitated....would go toe to toe with anyone in the league. Check out the Habs/Nordiques brawls....totally insane!!! Look at the skating surfaces and the boards....all white (no advertising)...a time when pride in your team meant something instead of this money-oriented whore of a game now called "hockey".....filled with nothing but untalented greedy pansies who don't respect the contracts they sign. I don't know about steroid use, but he did use drugs of some kind. I preferred Nilan more for his goal scoring and toughness for the time. Knuckles Nilan! :) But still, was great that we had a huge muscle like Kordic. Opposite teams played with a degree of fear. :) Fears mean mistakes...mistakes lead to wins when capitalized upon.
