well, although they had only 10 planes,and with all this unethical sanctions, its good they r still flying. syrian air cant buy from airbus cause nearly all its aircrafts have US or canadian components (esp. landing gears and some copkit instruments) i am sure that if this unlegal sanctions r lifted, they would buy new aircrafts and improve their services.(check all airlines ratings, reviews and quality from skytrax). Syrianair is the worst flight i went on when we were going to damascus international from london heathrow we had to wait for so long our time was 16:40 hours then after so long it said the flight was delayed then finally we departed at 19:15 hours and when the gates opened for departure the crowd went crazy and clapped after waiting for so long and when the plane landed the crowd clapped again . we gave this plane a name of our own ATC that stands for anytime chelewa(anytime late).

I flew to Damascus by Syrian Airlines and have regretted for doing so and would never again fly with Syrian Air. I asked for 2 pillows and blanket for my children but was told that it they did not have. The airhostess told me 'what to do, we are given limited number and they have been given out.' It was same on my return flight too. I saw only two pillows given out on economy side. The toilets are filthy. The funniest part was when they land and everybody claps. There is no TV also.

Looks like everything turnes political here, this is a just a glance about the Syrian Air vedio. Thanks for whoever did it. I myself used to know an aircraft engineer from Syrian air and I have to say he was super sharp in his aeronautical knowldge. The fleet is old but they have a great human resources doing a good job keeping the safety record in pretty good shape. There pilot are expert and well trained. The landing on Syrian Air was super smooth.

They are really bad, especially when they make four loops or more and from airport to another before you reach the aimed city! you need sometimes 10 hours to travel from Europ to Damascus, becasue you will visit all the cities on your way, but sure you have to stay in the plain in your seat witing the new passengers like a local bus, under such circumstances smoking allowed!

I went on Syrian Air once, and it was good!! It is improving a lot!! The flight attendants are soo nice, and the food was good. They served two meals when i was traveling from Milan to Damascus!! At least the service is better then SOME European Airlines. The flight attendants on Syrian Air are nicer then those on European airlines. I know the fleet is bad, but it's not their faults if boeing won't sell them planes.
