I'll give you one thing, Ian Brill did an okay job with the comics -- I'm still waiting for my newest issues to drop in -- but at the end of the Duckthulu saga, it started getting stale.
Nevertheless, I still have hope for the comic book crew when/if they keep going as soon as Marvel picks up where they left off. Hopefully, Brill with learn from his mistakes. (I most certainly hope Tad Stones comes back to put things right.)

Magica leaves early, all the Darkwings go *poof* (which means No Quiverwing vs. Darkwarrior scene) Paddy whack appears, takes Negaduck goes on about how afraid Negaduck is about something, fuses with him and then The Crime bots save the day while Darkwing just stands there and watches.
It was James who was the real hero of that arc and saved the ending.
should i get the issue 17 and 18? hope they get a new contract, i haven't seen the crossover because i only saw on in my comic shop, but i liked the cover
@gokugtsupersaiyan If you want the full cross over you'll need to get DuckTales issues 5 and 6 along with Darkwing Duck issues 17 and 18. the story order goes, DT#5 then DWD#17 then back to DT#6 and finally wraps up with DWD#18
@gokugtsupersaiyan Nope. BOOM! is no longer making comic books with Disney Titles. Perhaps it's for the best. Maybe now, Darkwing can go to Marvel and it'll be easier to buy. ^^
I haven't read the comic so I can't really respond to this video but I was going to order the Ducktales/DWD crossover comicbooks and now I'm wondering if I really shouldn't...
@TheLunaDuck The artwork is amazing and the story idea would be great. it's just the way it was presented. It's not revoltingly horrible it's just...sloppy. My biggest issue is with the writer.
@BeecroftA oh I know. When the Brill's view of Darkwing Duck started going down hill I thought it seemed like It's happened before. Then I saw Comic Book Capers and was like, "Wait a sec. This is the same thing!"
@soseztheleadr Oh totally. Just because he's a duck doesn't mean he can't fight back ....and win. There's a very good reason why his catch phrase is "Let's Get Dangerous!" Brill found out the hard way. x3
