I'm left handed, and I had been told my uncle was also, and had been physically beaten into using his right hand because the superstitious teachers were scared when he started writing backwards. Anyways, I tried it and after a few lines I quickly got into the pace! Now I write any notes I don't want anyone to see backwards with my right hand, just as fast as I write them using my left hand going from left to right.

i'm right handed and i taught myself to write backwards... it's actually pretty easy. i with i was naturally ambidextrous... but i guess all you really need is practice

I am very strongly right handed, but have always been able to write backwards (mirror). I could do this even as a child, and thought that everyone could do it, until doing a little research recently.

I think it's a lefty thing. Righty's can do this but I heard lefty's make it look much easier than it is. There was also something else that lefty's can do (in writing that is) that Righty's cannot. Someone showed me this trick and I could do it (being a lefty) but for the life of me, I cannot remember what it was!?!?

I'm right-handed, and I can write in reverse/write backwards. I've tried researching this, and I've found very little. Yes, more left-handed people are able to right backwards, so it is even more bizarre that people right-handed can write backwards. However, no one goes on to tell much more than that.

I believe they also refer to this as mirror writing.

If anyone knows more about this, do tell.

I don't know why its comes so natural though---Maybe it's because we're lefted handed? I do the two handed thing to. My right hand goes in the "right" direction while my left hand writes backwards in the "wrong" direction. I never knew anyone else could do this! <3
