Ugh..but anyway type in "mushfarms" on youtube..watch all 5 of that guys videos and order his 150 dollar kit called "fungus factory", then order some spores off sporeworks website and youll have shrooms in 4-7 weeks, youll have about 12 ounces if you do it right.
i ran little 10L clear tubs three years ago. love em! i duct taped the bottom to prevent side/bottom pinning. if you can put them outdoors in the spring with the top cracked, you get massive shrooms!
polyfil is a really good idea to stop green mold and such. the shroomery monotub tek didn't have enough airflow - evidenced by the wooly mycelium covered shrooms.

@maddoxnetwork you crush up the colonized jars, and then mix them in with coco coir and vermiculite. Once the mycelium has taken over the casing, they will begin to fruit within a week or so. Overall you get a shit ton of mushrooms compared to PF tek method.

If you need spores, allow the first ten or so caps to open and then put them in a large, covered glass or porcelain bowl or other container, with the cover on. After a couple of days, the humidity inside will bring the spores out of the cap and onto the container. You can then freeze the spores or whatever.

@adamalbidress Ive dried pounds in the dehydrator butt thats for a more smaller scale dry . You can putt alot more in the oven and it works fine. I would never dry them wrong, trust me
what ever you do folk, don't make the same mistake I did the first time I grew. Don't put these guys in the oven to help them dry out quicker, you will get a nasty surprise if you do.

Just give it time. As long as it's growing, it will fully colonize eventually. Sometimes it can take up to a month or two to fully colonize.. just be patient.
Either that or you packed the substrate too tight. it should be very loose and airy.

what ever you do folk, don't make the same mistake I did the first time I grew. Don't put these guys in the oven to help them dry out quicker, you will get a nasty surprise if you do.

he used wbs spawned to straight coco coir...nothing else..... easy peasy.. best way to do it - easiest way to do it period.

my god u just grew like 300 dollars in 1 tub....there was like 5...and 300 is prob not even close 300 is little over an ounce at 10 a g....there was prob a few ounces? checkin out this link nice video amazing grow have fun with those

try to spread the spores more when you inject them.. and also if your spores been cold/warm they tend not to grow as many mushrooms

Just give it time. As long as it's growing, it will fully colonize eventually. Sometimes it can take up to a month or two to fully colonize.. just be patient.
Either that or you packed the substrate too tight. it should be very loose and airy.

How important is light to a mushroom grow, I understand mushrooms lack the ability to do photosynthesis, so, is complete darkness a bad thing?
Also, what would you recommend as a good heat and humidity for a grow?

Your supposed to pick them before they open up like that......when they open they drop the spores which get you high!
