My parents and grandparents were in the military for most of their lives They helped their country out more than any liberal has , I help MY country by staying out of trouble and not breaking the law with violence, alcohol or drugs. I also help out the country by getting an education so I can be a productive member of society and NOT be on welfare.

The myth of the Bush years is an interesting one. It is proof that if you continue the drumbeat of waht you want people to believe, they will believe it. Your impression of the Bush years is a fabrication. Interesting that the very people who insulted and degraded Bush now say we have to respect this current president. Who says? After all, in only 3 weeks in office, he has way outdone Bush in doing destructive or stupid things. Obama will definitely be the worst president we've ever had.

I'm sorry, but what kind of change? I hear from Obama and his supporters, "Change! Change!"  Could that be anymore vague? Socially, I'm pretty liberal, so he doesn't bother me so much there (although FOCA is stepping a bit into the realm of the barbaric). Unfortunately, his economic plans ring of change for the worse.
