Bruce was also in trouble (as a child) for street fighting. He got kicked out of school for to much fighting etc. Basically bruce was gaining experiance in actual fighting (on the streets) since he was a teenager. so imagine. From the age of 13 to the age of 30; nothing but pure experiance in fighting various types of people (in real fights with on rules, no limitations, anything goes etc). Bruce is the master.

ya but mr velikiyavaianach. bruce lee had many challangers in his life time (more than enough compared to a famous ufc fighter in present time. maybe even more). If u wanted to fight bruce lee; u had to tap ur foot twice (or something like that). Also bruce lee never lost to any of those challangers. Bruce lee had way more experiance in street fighting than any ufc fighter has today.

i explored lee's history many times and understood he would not be best fighter today( he is 69 old years and MMA competitions would be difficult to him because there are heavy weight creat champions) and he was not such in his time...he was just greatest master of martial arts and great superstar of martial arts movies. Sure he won Won jak Man but he did not prove his fighter's briliance in ring because he rejected rules and limitations

OK, here's what I believe:

Bruce Lee's death was a total accident

Had he trained to ring fight he would've been undefeated in his weight class

Had he fought Wong Jak Man again he would've decisively beat him

He doesn't look like he couldn't whoop ass in real life.

There will never BE another Bruce Lee so we have to accept who's out here (Tony Jaa, Jet Li, etc)..just my opinions!!
