  • Hello - good work. I realize there are a number of different ways and techniques but want to point out that around 8 min you are coating the entire transom with resin to seal it. I would suggest mixing that coat with acetone if you are using poly resin - that allows better saturation of the wood especially if you sand it first.

  • nice work where do u get all ur fiberglass material from..

  • @puch7261

A local distributor. The had to order it, but I saved on shipping because they added it to their other order.

  • That puddy is so nasty I try to refrain from using it too much.

  • Jay, Hope your Mother gets better soon! I really appreciate your sharing of the how to... Been absolutely motivated to get on my 1986 SeaRay 20' Seville......

    Thanks again!

  • Nevermind. I found the post. The guys are talking about your processes there. You are Friscoboater.

  • Do you hang out on Sea Ray Owners Forum?

    clubSeaRay (google it)

  • Finally! Someone that is more A.D.D. than I myself!

    Nice work.

  • @Speakrdude

LOL!!!!! It's true! I call it being scatterbrained.

  • If you have a swap meet or flea market you can buy cheap rollers and brushes there. Much cheaper then Home Depot. The only thing I would try to clean is the steel roller for rolling fiberglass.

  • So far $1600 on all the supplies.

  • So how much did you spent in cash for the whole project? Thank You erick

  • you may want to consider the fact that acetone can be any where from 14-20 a gallon and you still have a long way to go and usually you cant save your brushes and rollers anyway also consider covering your garage floor with old tarps or plastic much cleaner just throw away

  • @IndyDarrell
