first off Creed was good. Especially for a Cristian rock band. but Alter Bridge is much much better. And the new voice fits so perfect. K, unlike a lot of people, I am going to reply to Mark's interview. I thought it was a well done interview. He was blunt and honest. A lot of people say "Oh no. My previous band doesn't effect this band at all." Where as Mark stated straight out, "Yes, it does effect us, and our fans." Well done. Even though this is old, I still feel a comment is necessary.

I'm glad Creed did re-unite and Alter Bridge haven't split, it's great that the two bands will co-exist because they're two really good bands and it would be a shame if one had to go to make way for the other one, so my conclusion is that they are in the best possible situation atm.

Alter Bridge in my opinion is much better than Creed. Myles can sing and play guitar and he is damn good at it. Tremonti is also just an amazing player and i think he just shines with alter bridge. Creed to them is the past and they have a reason for it. So just to mention what has Stapp done apart from his solo CD.

Hey - I'm no singer but I know what I like and Stapps voice sounded like he sings from the side of his throat - reminded me of Ronan Keating, of whom I am not a fan but it sounds like the same kind of vocal technique... Kennedy just seems to be totally adept at what he does, and both the AB CDs so far have some strong songs, some are a little 'radio-friendly' but why not, if these guys don't earn the royalties, they ain't gonna be round to entertain for long are they... There... I said it!!

What XXFigure8XX means is that Stapp has a more solid sounding voice which is fact but he is far worse than Kennedy. Kennedy can hit a far larger range of notes and his pitching and stamina is far more consistant than Stapps. However his natural voice is thinner than that of Stapps deep one.

Myles voice is really good. He belts out vocals that are full of emotion. I think Scott was ok but his voice was kinda boring... sure creed was good while it lasted but alter bridge just takes it to a whole new level.

Why do people have to keep bringing up the Creed thing? 3 of the members used to be in Creed they aren't anymore. They have moved on and they now play heavier music and they have freedom to write the lyrics they want and the music they want. In Creed near the end Tremonti said he felt they had to put music out that was kind of radio friendly and would sound similiar to their albums before that. Now they have freedom to play the music they WANT to play.

They're old playing was spectacular with creed but as Alter Bridge they are definatly on a different platform, everything is just on a higher level than before and sounds nothing like creed. what do you say!! It was Tremonti before (On Creed) and It is Tremonti now (On AB).... so how u can call it more sophisticated music if always the tabs were Tremonti's creation. One thing is true: with Myles, Tremonti's music sounds more poppys and friendly radio... with Stapp, Tremonti's melodies turns more mystical and enters deeper into your soul... that's the difference anyway.

Have you ever listened to Alter Bridge? Have you looked at the difference in sophistication from what he did in Creed to what he has done in AB? Creed was radio friendly, that's why Tremonti and the others had differences with Stapp, they wanted to play better music and he wanted to do the same old. Besides are you saying a musician can't get better over time? Mark is ten times better in AB. I liked Creed, but AB is better, and Myles' Lyrics are just as deep as stapps.

He's absolutely right, but the title is wrong. Everything about Blackbird has distanced Mark, Brian, and Scott from Scott Stapp entirely. The music is much heavier then anything Creed would ever make, and it is just so much better. I can't wait to see what the future holds for Alter Bridge.
