  • MJ is the man

  • wow i never knew larry bird was so tall he must be like 6'11 or maybe even 7'0 wow

  • Shaq should have been the player from the draft replacing Laettner. That team was truly unbeatable.

  • @abmmwl Yep Shaq was better that Laettner even at college

  • has anyone noticed that, kobe plays number 10 in the olympic team? Jordan played number 9... 10>9, not saying kobes better, but he also plays number 24 normally, and jordan played number 23, 24>23... a coincidence? i dont think so... Kobe is going to be using this when he retires..! Ps. Love Kobe and Jordan! Best players ever: 1. Prime Jordan, 2. Prime Kobe ;D

  • @TheArnoldBusk hes saying hes next after jordon or basically saying best player since the best retired

  • bird looks like a chicken .

  • @basketboii96 LOL

  • Coach K hasn't changed a single bit.

  • I do miss stockton and the mailman

  • Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, that was a wet-dream team...

  • nice

  • thumbs up if you waited for MJ to speak..

  • @GemZel16 both Mj's to speak

  • I have that last picture at the end as poster on my wall...verry cool !!!.

  • 1:17 roflwtf Christian Laettner?

  • 5 missed the like button.

  • @snicker292 And I'm sixth, cause Lithuania will defeat you again.

  • greatest team ever assembled in team sport history, not just basketball but team sport.. MJ, magic, bird, robinson , malone, stockton, drexler, pippen, barkley, ewing, mullin and laettner..

  • The redeem Team is NO WHERE near the Dream Team !!....MAGIC, BIRD, MJ & COMPANY BEAT THE WORLD BY AN AVERAGE OF 44.0 POINTS A GAME !!! This will NEVER happen AGAIN !!! The DREAM TEAM will always be the BEST TEAM EVER ASSEMBLED !!....KNOW THE HISTORY & RESPECT IT !!!!

  • did they won straight gold medal??

  • fuck the redeem team! go THE DREAM TEAM!

  • pj carlesimo sounds like shawn michaels...

  • Christian Laettner was the best player on that team HANDS DOWN!!!

  • 1:30 look at K. Malone biceps oO'

    Where is Magic johnson ?!

  • @bhouri huuhh... the guy wearing 15?!? lol

  • @bhouri i think his the guy with the # 15 jersey

  • Dam i wasnt alive in 1992.

  • X Laettner&put in Kemp 2 rain down, then its the best ever, ....thats still bug me!

  • @msb2infinity Kemp was still very young in 1992 and his NBA credentials were still peaking past that year, therefore i don't think the USA committee would have selected him at the time. Hakeem would have been great addition if he received his citizenship sooner, Isiah if wasn't hated so badly, or perhaps Dominique but he focused too much on just scoring and not much else to his game.

  • @Ajmcc23 I'm a canadain, and this is the best basketball team ever, so ya, its the dream team

  • fantastic moments no doubt magic and jordan......damn

  • The greatest team ever in basketball history!!!

  • Greatness.

  • Who was the stupid fuck who disliked this video ?

  • @suckbloodtouchplease probably a Russian haha

  • Greatest team assembled in the history of team sports, the "redeem team" couldnt hold the real Dream Teams jockstrap, even past their prime Bird and Magic would wipe the floor with the clowns today

  • They should have a reunion on the court, hahaha.

  • best dream team ever!

  • THE REALLY NBA!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Too bad my Croatia had a dream team too that year. :/

  • To those who think the "Redeem Team" is better than the "Dream Team";

    - Stockton was backing up Magic at the 1

    - Clyde was backing up MJ at the 2

    - Pippen was backing up Bird at the 3

    - Malone was backing up Chuck at the 4

    - Robinson was backing up Ewing at the 5

Just think about THAT for a second; I won't say no more.

  • @RowinBernardo There's no need to try and compare both Olympic teams. Just appreciate the fact that they both dominated for U.S basketball.

  • @slmnsulaimon

I would agree with you if The Redeem Team didn't open their big mouths saying that they could take The Dream Team. If anyone needs to stop the comparison, it's them. In regards to the discussion, it's never going to stop anyway! It's inevitable, so why not just have some fun and go with it?

  • @RowinBernardo I personally believe 08 played tougher teams. The only competition 92 had was the Croatian Dream Team with a bunch of NBA bench players on that "Dream Team". 04 Puerto Rico could of beat them. I just think the game could be close but I would go with 92 also hands down if it's NBA rules & court.

  • @BRAZEN08

That's the spirit! The Dream Team FTW!

  • @RowinBernardo The Redeem team had a better overall back court. The Dream team has the front court but the international game is not low post friendly. So I think redeem team is equal because Magic & Bird were past their prime & Stockton didn't hit his yet. Don't confuse their career work with the skills they had once they joined together in 92. The 2008 team had almost every single player in their prime.

  • @BRAZEN08

(1 of 4) True about the better back court and the fact that the Redeem Team had almost every single player in their prime, but Chuck said it best when he mentioned that The Redeem Team barely won the Gold Medal while The Dream Team beat their opposition by an average of 30 points. That says a lot considering Magic, Bird, & Stockton weren't at their primes. As for the international game not being lost post friendly; it didn’t matter with The Dream Team! They just scored at will!

  • @BRAZEN08

(2 of 4) The game of basketball is about playing inside-out. With that said, The Dream Team is better than The Redeem Team. If someone tried to help on Pat or Dave, they would be LEGEND enough to pass it out to those so called not-in-their-prime-players. Need I remind you that they had MJ, Scottie, AND Clyde as the wingmen on their team? Yes, the bigs overseas can play the shooting game, but everyone in their right mind knows that shots aren’t always going to fall for you.

  • @BRAZEN08(3 of 4) That’s when the beauty of the post game kicks in. No, Ewing and Robinson weren’t 3 point specialists; but their mid-range game was solid enough to not only keep up with the international bigs, but combined with their skills under the basket, to ruin them as well. People need to pay respect to the HALL-OF-FAME players that is The Dream Team. LeBron, Wade, Bosh, and even my man KOBE should’ve known not to open their big mouths and saying that they could take the The Dream Team.

  • @BRAZEN08

(4 of 4) Give me a break.. Like I said, compare The Redeem Team (most all players were in their prime) with The Dream Team (who had players not in their prime); while The Redeem Team BARELY won the Gold Medal, The Dream Team won it with flying colors. The Dream Team wins hands down.

  • @RowinBernardo Miss Olajuwon in that backing up list.

  • @WiltatKansas

Olajuwon wasn't on that team yo..

  • @RowinBernardo that's the reason why i miss?

  • @WiltatKansas

Oh snap THAT'S what you meant. Oops..

I agree w/ you! No offense to Christian Laettner and Chris Mullin but one of them could've easily been replaced by Hakeem. Can you imagine The Dream on The Dream Team?! That would've been even more epic for them '92 boys!

  • @RowinBernardo I would agree to replace Laettner, but Chris Mullin more than deserved to be on the team since he averaged 5 straight seasons of 25+ ppg from 1988 to '93. First All-NBA team in '92, 5X all-star & 3X starting all-star, and an very underrated passer. Given Bird's playing time was limited due to back problems, Mullin became the primary sharp shooter. I don't think Mullin would have been "easily replaced" during that time since he was one of the better players during 1992.

  • @RowinBernardo Olajuwon hadn't been naturalized as a US citizen yet.

  • @RowinBernardo

yeah really man. stockton and malone of the bench...wow

  • @RowinBernardo it also is worth mentioning that every single player with the exception of larry and magic, were all in their primes. pippen and barkley were insanely good. the best two players in the tourney (mj was pretty much running the point after a stock hand injury). redeem team was really good, but The Dream Team is the greatest team EVER assembled. it can never be duplicated or topped.

  • @RowinBernardo Though I agree the Dream Team was the better team, Magic was out of shape and Larry had back problems.

  • @hermom2 Bird recorded a massive triple double that year and I believe Magic won the all star game. Seems pretty good to me

  • Christian Laettner was the only college player on the Dream Team. He was chosen over Shaq because he had logged more time with the team than Shaq. In the end, it really didn't matter for the Dream Team's outcome because they kicked everyone's ass.

  • one of the guys in the original dream team does not belong there... we all know who.

  • would be awesome to see the dream team (in their prime) play against the redeem team

  • @blizzard888 The Dream Team would push them off and put them down to then drive and dunk in their face, and the Redeem Team would call a foul everytime.

Personally I preferred the old NBA in general, and the previous era's players. But that's an opinion!

  • Why Laettner? Why not Shaq? This team was really dope back then, but I miss Isiah & Kemp or Richmond in that roster.

  • @RockoStylezFlyest Shaq was not around that time.

  • @waynepark00

    The 1992 NBA draft:

    1st: Shaquille O'Neal

    2nd: Alonzo Mourning

    3rd: Christian Laettner

  • get Laettner out, and that was the best team ever...

  • is it me or does Bird look like a bird?

  • @clpot He does look like an OWL

  • @clpot thats your crack you SMOKED

  • @clpot lol I thought the same everytime I see him. He's cute.

  • The greatest basketball team 1:30

  • JORDAN+BIRD+JOHNSON= GOLD!!!!

  • man.. this team is so badass!

  • i have no idea who num 4 and 13 is :/

  • @eldzbeniman mullin and laetttner

  • @eldzbeniman Christian Laetnar is 4 and 13 is Chris Mullin, C. Late was a rookie and Mullin played for the Pacers. C Late played at duke and his Career in the NBA wasn' very good. GREAT college player though.

  • cant believe they didn't interview Jordan...

  • @SkaterQuickflip

Not interviewed because they've done it so many times that Jordan is tired of so many interviews of the same and the same. A the end the Dream Team won the Gold thanks to MJ23.

  • @SkaterQuickflip

LOL they didn't need to; they interviewed Charles, Magic, AND Bird!

  • NICE~
