WOW, iba talaga ang The Dawn. I remember before I was following them everywhere. Until the Tribute To Teddy Concert @ Folk Arts Theater. Teddy Diaz was really a BIG loss to the band. Thanks The Dawn for being a part of my life and that's unforgettable. Cheers !

When i was like 4 - 7 yrs old, i was practically scared of Teddy Diaz(R.I.P) i thought he was doing something scary and the way he looks while he plays the guitar, but now(14 yrs old) I idolize him, it's just that way he plays make him, him, Long Live Sir Teodoro Diaz!

I remember buying their album because of Salamat when I was 10 years old in 1989. Looking back now, I never realized that the guitar player wasn't the Brew.

It's also funny to see all of these videos. They've gone from New Wave, to somewhat Glam(actually whichever came first) to grungy, then to now. Hehehehe...

One more thought, I wonder why Jett Pangan et. al. were always fond of coats...Sushi was even wearing a trench coat in the Salamat video. hehehehe...very CC deVille

Accourding to accounts,Teddy proceeded to his girlfriend's house in Tatalon Quezon City, after the gig on Chanel 2. He was walking towards the gate when he has accosted by two drunks,one of them armed with a knife.Teddy offered his wallet,containing P200,his share of the fee from the band's earlier performance,but after snatching the wallet, the knifewielder went on to stab him,even as his companion refortedly tried to pacify him.
