  • Wow That was awesome! Really appreciate opportunity to watch this caliber of presentation on-line. Thanks so much! I don't know very much about this topic, but it seems like a big step would be if the Actors guild/unions had a professional code of conduct that deferred work in the spirit of ADA access and reserved those roles for authentically representative Deaf/Blind/Disabled actors. It is presumptuous for a Hrg non-signer to accept a Deaf signing role. Result is hollow performance.

  • Thanks for posting! What does Linda Bove say about the TV show, "House" at around 9:30. It is not interpreted. THANKS!

  • Why not that We,Deaf,HH others set our Own Production INC then..? No Money ?

  • I wish she was In Atlanta, Georgia.

  • terrible interpreter, wow. like @ 5:35... um no, not "and she could voice" -- for the movie voices!! that's what she said -- ugh.

  • @00arzu00 she's not even signing fast!

  • Captions please, quality captions. Or you speak to the converted, and thousands of deaf, deafened and people with hearing loss are excluded.

  • One of the most eloquent explanations of why to cast deaf actors. Bravo, Linda.
