Ok so i understand what your saying and i know it does bother some people but here is my problem. Are you saying that nick should look for a reason to let the word bother him, even when the word is not directed at him or being used in a way to intentionally hurt someone? Personally if someone tried to tell me i have to watch my mouth around them and be careful to not say a word that a lot of people use nowadays as a way of saying my "friend" well then they won't have my company.

fledge u have that rite to b selective of ur company.. but consider this - many use cuss words often but around strangers they choose to try not to offend others and curb their speech.. thats being courteous and shows regard for others.. blacks have been stigmatized by that label for a couple hundred years.. yes many have chosen to use the label as a pet name.. does that remove the stigma? does its use remove the history behind it?
