You guys should still make a Tele styled guitar (With the set neck and all) but just put some P-90's in it instead. That would pretty badass. And make sure it stays uner $500.
If you tuned this to Eb like I do, you would be cooked. This bridge would not allow harmonic adjustment to accommodate. Correct? Overall, it's too muddy and would not portray the characteristics of "fields in proximity".neck, mid, bridge, or any combination.
I have a Sidejack. Great guitar. Three-pickups-in-one may be negated since there is only a bridge position. Were samples were played through a pedal/amp drive? Versatile? Pedals/modeling will give you these sounds. I hope to see a demo that will show off what the naked guitar sounds like. That would tell me more. I swear, every guitar manufacturing site makes their guitars sound like every other guitar.
Mike has a great operation, doesn't need to be a "Me too" outfit.
Hmm. I'll need to watch this guitar's progress. I'm a big fan of Telecasters, so a Tele-esque guitar (though I suppose this is a bit like an Esquire with only a bridge pickup) that has so much versatility definitely has my attention. I'm interested in learning more about that giant pickup. It could use a couple more color options though - namely, an all-white option (maybe white with a black headstock?).
i think you should make a coulpe hundred semi-hollow bodied version of this in the future...
