Never saw a test pattern on WTTG...and it looks like the same style WPIX used. And with the "Metromedia 5" logo in the middle. I remember on TTG's sister WNEW just color bars before sign-on

Based on the '5' logo variant, I'd say the color TP was circa 1980-81.
