There is a very erroneous part about this video. The first Templars never wore lovely white tunics like we see here. They were very secular. Almost like any other ordinary knight. No cross or anything of that kind. Granted the Gameplay shots were not as grand as one would hope, I cannot simply put down a game based in the distinction of religion or not.

Knights Templar didn't fear God would strike them down if they carried a weapon into His house, only about once they left...Also if you could afford a sword, it showed you were a noble, or at least had a noble's financial support.

There is a very erroneous part about this video. The first Templars never wore lovely white tunics like we see here. They were very secular. Almost like any other ordinary knight. No cross or anything of that kind. It wasn't up until 1120 that the Pope Paschal II had awarded the Order the White Tunic with a red cross on the left side of the breast that the Order was remembered for wearing that stuff.

And a second look at this, makes me see something in which compels me to say something.Assassins Creed was a good game, and started a genre of addiction one could only hope to slay, with another game of the same distinction. But if I recall, Creed was not the first to employ such ideas. Prince of Persia, and even Ninja Gaiden all ran on similar tactics. Though Creed brought a new world and different entourage of abilities, it was still similar in some function. So who says a Templar can't do it?

I am almost not entirely sure what to make of the game itself. I find the story of the Templar's to be most intriguing, and to see a game quite like the "Fabled" Assassins Creed, which yes by all accounts was a decent game; rendered in a different fashion is fascinating to say the least. Granted the Gameplay shots were not as grand as one would hope, I cannot simply put down a game based in the distinction of religion or not.

Yes, yes, go be a barbarous bully while thinking your acts to be holy. What bigotry. In addition the game looks stupid with an troll fighting a man in single combat, as if we are supposed to be amazed by that.
It should be easy to remember that THOU SHALT NOT KILL was in the 10 commandments.

Real world speaking. A templar is a soldier of "god". Being such, you are bound to follow your leader's when they say it is in the name of God. Knights Templar didn't fear God would strike them down if they carried a weapon into His house, only about once they left...Also if you could afford a sword, it showed you were a noble, or at least had a noble's financial support.

lol just watching this give me a crazy idea. they should make a COD in medevil times like have different swords, bows, crossbows and armor and shit. have like killstreaks as a volley of arrows and lighitng strikes or some shit. also have different characters like warrior, dwarfs, elfs and mages. lol and you can upgrade your sword or what ever and put lightning or fire or summit in them lol dont ask me why it just come in my head

Honest opinion. Poor quality. Would be very cool to see a templar game set out, with larger points of view than just one, of the crusaders. A bit like Assassin's Creed but no unbelievable sci-fi feel-ups.. Don't get me wrong though, I liked AC a lot. Just.. It wasn't THAT templar-ish.
