  • Sigh. This is the favorite band of the person I like. But I shouldn't like him. Sigh.

  • whaddup danny brown

  • Perfect campfire music!

  • I've given up on trying to listen to this with my mouth closed.

  • led zeppelin is probably extremely pissed they didnt write this

  • This is seriously how all of my daydreams feel like

  • found about these guys on mushrooms! best trip ever!

  • This band is "different". I was 37 years old when I bought this EP in 2008. I play my CD's in the car, yet this song has a "Pet Sounds" vibe. This song is in the spirit of Brian Wilson.

  • Why does every video lead to an arguement? Enjoy the song, loves please~

  • Gotta love some good "frolicking through the medow music".

  • I love the word bubbles- thank you Shakespeare

  • The "whoa, my love" part makes me want to put on a gypsy skirt and dance around like a looney.

  • Do alot of Robin's songs sound like mystical childrens stories? Simple and innocent on some level.

  • @degree7 U2? U2 couldn't hope to come close to the sheer brilliance of Fleet Foxes.

  • @EoghanKeegan

You realize that The Edge pioneered that "echoey" guitar work you're hearing?

Of course, it probably shares a greater resemblance to The Byrds, what with the jangle effect, but all the same, Alternative started in the 1980s, and this is Alternative.

  • @degree7 No, this is contemporary fold music. lulz

  • @Multiverse1100

Oh I do like fold music.

  • @degree7 I meant folk. Obviously. ;D

  • @Multiverse1100

    I know, ;D

  • @degree7 Because they don't.

  • @smokeylee1986

Echoey-reverb effects with light guitar tone. Man, the lead singer even sounds like Bono.

  • @degree7 Well fair enough, to be honest mate I've heard a lot more by Fleet Foxes than U2 anyway so some of U2's stuff could well sound like Fleet Foxes. Both great bands though.

  • this song is:

    a good remedy for headaches

    great for midnight driving

    best when turned up fully

kind of like fresh air...you don't ever get tired of it.

  • This sounds like a silly thing to say, but these guys are so musical. Know what I mean?

  • @EFFANDJEFF yeah, we know wut u mean..........lol....they r fantastic, reminds me of someone exploring in a deep forest and discovering something magical....lol

  • oooh myyy love

  • His voice is so much like Neil Young it's scary

  • @fissure226 Actually, Neil Youngs voice is like torture. His voice is softer and soothing.

  • I just am NOW discovering Fleet Foxes, I have to get ready for class but I don't want to stop listening!!!!!!!

  • It's sad you guys are bitching about some annotations when you should just be enjoying the beauty that is Fleet Foxes.

  • miracle!!

  • u know when u hear a song on an advert or on the radio and u think WOW. This is one of those songs.

  • @mswaking its definitly an awesome song, good version at glastonbury of "english house"

  • Just... wow. My heart is fluttering

  • It is impossible not to bop your head to this song!

    ILY Fleet Foxes!

  • wonderful sound!

  • too amazing! their so mellow :)

  • The Sun Giant EP rarely left my cd player last summer when I drove around America eating cheerios, kashi bars, and some edible plants, sleeping in my car - oh, and seeing this great country.

  • @TheLastNaturalist You're so awesome. I'd love to do that =)

  • Well thank you! What's holding you back? For the kind of trip I made, it didn't cost much - around a $950, with about $200 leftover. I started out of Laramie, WY went to the northwestern-most point of Washington state, down the Oregon coast to the Redwoods in northern CA, to Mt. Lassen, across I-50 in Nevada (the "loneliest road in America" to the Great Basin, then up through UT and back on I-80 to Laramie. I did live very frugally: I ate little (great for losing weight!) and camped in my car.

  • Awesome! Love this song! Love the Fleet Foxes!

  • crosby stills and the rest

    nice vocals

  • The fleet foxes are a great harmonising band in their own unique way.good musicians.

Not like the rap crap shit for brains american kids like nozebuzz listens to

  • @trymboslize What the heck do you listen to? Techno? Oh gah. Just quit polluting this video's comment board and go listen to whatever crap you prefer over this legit art.

  • @trymboslize

Hey, just because folk isn't your thing doesn't mean you shouldn't have a level of appreciation for it. You have a lot of maturing to do, child.

  • @nosebuzz Meh suck it up and go listen to whatever screwed music you prefer.

  • @nosebuzz I believe you are the one that sucks. Go listen to Justin Bieber, maybe he's not too "hillbilly" for you.

  • @TheAerochick13 i hate justin bieber,, but not as much as these shitheads,, and my new found friend could you kindly suck a fart from my ass,, if your not to busy, thanks!

  • @nosebuzz Oh wow, how mature. You're obviously way too out of my league for an arguement if you came up with such a clever and original insult that applies to me so well... NOT. Go get a life, and read a dictionary while you're at it. Maybe people will take you more seriously.

  • @TheAerochick13 iam just kiddin ya chick,,, i like to abuse people for no real reason, it gives me a buzz,, please dont take offence.. up the fart suckers!

  • @nosebuzz I don't take offense from people who can't even spell "offense" so no worries. XD

  • @TheAerochick13 so no offence then?..lol

  • Sort of sounds like "easier" by grizzly bear. both great songs. =)

  • absolutely awesome!!!!.... one of my fav bands!!....

  • Why do you all care for the bubbles? Just ignore them. There isn't even a video to watch, just a picture, so it isn't like they're getting in the way of anything. If it bothers you that much, close your eyes and listen to the song. It's much better that way anyway.

  • geheh' i love it to read these posts about the annotations i added, they were very impulsive, i didn't meant any of it. i love the music aswell. its funny u guys take the annotations very seriously.. don't get distracted by the annotations,.. cheers (L)

  • fleet foxes kick assssss! and ur a tool for making all those gay ass quotes. lol

  • this song is fantastic; no need to fuck it up with political viewpoints. i mean shit, i agree with youpolitically , but i want to listen to fucking fleet foxes without all the fucking annotation bubbles. not fucking cool right now man.

  • Love the fleet foxes, going to see them tonight!

  • Luckkkky. How was it?

  • I saw them in Paradiso a while back. Amazing. one of the best concerts I ever saw

  • I don't care what the politics of fleet fox are, I love a few of their songs. Very talented and the lead singer has a calm soothing voice. I'm an avowed right winger but can find comfort in good music.

  • bubbles, who cares? get a life we just wanted to hear the song!

  • ur right'

  • these are the worst annotations ive seen on all of youtube. its a shame too because this is the only studio version of this song on youtube

  • I love lamp

  • whats with the speech buubles?

    w.e i love this songC:

  • i love pron???? lol fuck sake... thank god for the song!!

  • Guess whoever put up these speech bubbles doesn't ever get any

  • I agree.......very disgusting..

  • did they play this song on your wing? Was it annotation day in occupational therapy??

  • giggling!

  • ha h. the annotations are fairly funny.

  • This reminds me so much of walking over the cliffs from prussia cove to perunuthnoe and past stackhouse cove. Very transportive.

  • he enabled annotations, that means all of the retarded people can play.

  • christ, kill the damn speech bubbles they make you look like an imbecile O_o

  • what's with the speech bubbles?

  • Well, since this is an invitation to comment on the video, rather than the song, I have to say that it's clearly been produced by someone who doesn't get outside very much. Pity, as the info box is quite succinct. As for the song, it's yet another blissful example of the quality of this band. Music this good endures. It will figure in Rolling Stone and Mojo polls for decades after most current acts have long been forgotton.

  • tune.

  • get the stupid comments of the video

  • Very medival!

    Very Now!

  • medieval

  • I love this band.......why didnt somebody tell me about these guys before!!~?

  • OH YES ...... MY LOVE music from the SOUL.

  • Driving cross country 2 see these guys in woodstock2009 Sasquatch Festival.....VOICES FROM AGES LONG AGO

  • I can´t stop dreaming with Fleet Foxes. And this is my favourite song, it´s like travelling across the country. And the prettiest harmony of FF: "ohhh my love".

  • They remind me so much of Crosby, Stills and Nash... with a little Band and Pink Floyd thrown in for good measure. Absolutely amazing.

  • my friend is Josh Tillman's sister!

  • omg that means your better than me

  • HA! 1up

  • probably better at grammer.

  • hahaha i love the fleet foxes!

    their music is amazing! <3

I love this retro feeling to it :)

  • this is seriously my fav song by them it is so happy and great

  • Thanks for posting!!

  • what a great song and band

  • So underrated. This tune is better than most of the songs on their album.

  • why do you think i uploaded it ;)

  • Ez egy jódal egy jó együttestől:)

  • Igen , én gondol ugyanaz

  • @neutrinoo yeah i think the same... kdjghskj hejkla eapiufrhyaefjd :)

  • good song

  • yea geheh ^^

  • no comments? shame.

  • i'm glad you like the song, :)

  • oh my god. i just heard these guys on conan o'brien.. i am not a fan of guitars 'n vocals but this is the most beautiful thing i've heard in a long while..

  • i heared them on Letterman ;)

i don't know the technical term for it, but how he changes between high and low melodies is just awesome, good music..

can it be a new genre? did not hear like it before, it is similar to others like Iron and Wine, but a bit different, the middle ages comes to my mind when i listen to this music, not that its Middle Age music, just gives the idea of how it must have felt to live 'round those times..

  • their genre is described as indie

but i'ld like to think its more like indie folk

  • My roommate introduced me to this and described it as "baroque rock". From what little I gather from him (a former Music major) and my own introductory music classes, it seems that a lot of it lies in the vocal techniques, which are really evocative of some monastic chants I've heard. Polyphony and all that. Mind you, this is coming from somebody who only learned all this stuff in Intro to Music, I don't actually know what I'm talking about.

  • Baroque Pop, which is associated with acts like Love, whilst mixed with elements of English folk, that's in the vein of the Fairport Convention and Nick Drake.
