This is such a powerful scene, showing Hurley's love and his agony over what he had to do to protect his fellow survivors. Indeed this has got to be the shortest and possibly the most vivid narrative summary of what happened to them since crashing on the Island! And I love his mom's response - even though she has no idea what he's talking about, she can tell that he is speaking from the heart and what he is saying is completely and profoundly true.
@FedorfaN79 very true but if you don't have time to watch 120 episodes of lost in two weeks then it sucks but i totally say watch "LOST" and "Prison Break"! best tv shows ever and there both on netflix!<3 and both full series are on the instant queue streaming :]

@mistaeric it's too bad, you missed out. It's not too late, thanks to the magic of DVD but Lost was a great television experience. But if you're not into sci-fi then that would be why you thought it was getting silly. You really have to suspend all disbelief in order to enjoy sci-fi properly.
Why dont he explain the BIGGEST mystery on the LOST show. Like how does a fat guy GAIN weight on a diet of coconuts and fish on a isolated island?? If he had any commitment as an actor,,he would have done like Tom Hanks did for his part in Castaway!
@mistaeric If you had actually watched the show you'd see a difference between Season 1 and Season 6 him and you would know they had plenty of food as well.
I know this was supposed to be a sad moment, but I love his tone of voice when he's like "You had to push a button every 108 minutes or.... well I was never really clear on that!"
@clickstfu Couldn't be more wrong, but again, I give you credit for your bizarre imagination! It must serve you well on that depressing land of fog you inhabit. You goofy quiet desperation-hanging weirdo!
@clickstfu Wow another conspiracy. Great. Gotta love the ungrateful yellow tooth brits! Just let us know the next time you need your effeminate asses saved! Freaking degenerate!
@clickstfu Hahah wow you've really got an active imagination. I guess the subway bombings were retaliation for being our allies?? lol good lord you need help. GO get drunk at a "football" game and try not to notice life passing you by.
@thattotally A very powerful man named Charles Widmore staged a fake plane at the bottom of the Sunda Trench. Getting the plane had to take a great level of difficulty, but what's even more difficult is having the bodies all be counted for and then placing all of this at the bottom of the Indian Ocean. Yes, as the other person had said, Locke told Jack to lie, but would Jack really give a damn what Locke had to say? ....To be continued
@thattotally No, Widmore is the reason the oceanic 6 had to lie. Widmore went through all of the trouble to have them announced dead for a reason. He didn't want anybody to know where they actually were, the island. If Widmore was capable of all that to keep the island shrouded in secrecy then what could he possibly have done to the O'6 crew if they had talked anything about the island.
"and then we came back to the island, only it was the 1970s. so we joined the dharma initiative, but sayid shot ben, and then we had to leave, and then we blew up a nuke because we thought we could change the past... or future... i wasn't really clear on that. but it didn't work, we just time-traveled again to the present. and locke's alive again, except he's not really locke, and he told us he'd take us off the island, but he just wanted to kill us. now most of us are dead. that part was true."
@gunsbulletsheroin ..hehe I can imagine, in the Heaven or whatever is the world where they are, Hugo wrote a letter to his Mom with this words...XD...you definitely true about everthing..:D
..."now most of us are dead. That part was true!..I can't stop laughing:D
they might be, but they did just have the numbers mentioned in season 4 when hurley got his car. I think since they explained what the numbers are, the might not feel the need to showcase them anymore
