Horn & Hardart's Mac & Cheese was the greatest treat along with a piece of cherry pie and a glass of chocolate milk, that any 10 year old could ever want back in 1952.
We could use those days back again because the 2000's stink!
wtf is with family guy? so a song was on that show and you all have the time to just go on youtube and type it in to leave a comment saying "family guy xD"
Curiously, this was also released on a standard "shellac" 78 at the time, on the "Broadway" label [1514-A], credited to "Dave Meehan and his Orchestra", with "Clara Ramsdell" as the "vocal chorus".
Spitalny's version, featuring Helen Rowland and The Eton Boys as vocalists, was originally recorded for "Hit of the Week" in April 1932: a flexible disc which was sold at newsstands for 20 cents, and lasted about five minutes on each weekly single-sided release. Despite Hoover's suggestion in the lyrics, "Hit of the Week" was one of the casualties of the Depression at the time, discontinued at the end of June 1932 after only two years.
