The massacre at Oradour sur Glane was a attrocity commited by a unit of the 2nd Waffen SS division,no excuses but there is more to it.The French Underground decided to get active at the wrong time while this division was transitting to the Normandy beachhead.After numerous sniper attacks, assassinations and delays, one unit decided to do some payback.

The Arajs Kommando (also: Sonderkommando Arajs), led by SS-Sturmbannführer Viktors Arājs, was a unit of Latvian Auxiliary Police (German: Lettische Hilfspolizei) subordinated to the Nazi SD. It is one of the more well-known and notorious killing units during the Holocaust.

@KaspyTrucker They were just the type of idiotics autists needed by the nazis officers to do what they dared not to do: slaughtering humans, children, women in the name of schizophrenic ideas. Just good cases for psychiatric records. Thanks to history: they have mostly been hanged or gunned down by military squads by the end of world war II. Not a model for people having some brain. Your comments make me just laugh. You must be a very poor frustrated and unhappy man to think this way.
