Vicitim's father was out for revenge. I'm sure if his son, who was known to carry & wield a knife, had been the one to pull out a knife&stab someone to death, the father would have called it self-defense.What a travesty of justice;there are two systems of law in the US, one for the powerless&one for the powerful. Kids, don't be fools w/ your lives. Stay away from other kids into drugs and harmless or not, marijuana IS illegal, & it can lead to an incident out of proportion to intent.

First of all, Mr. Black and his friends go out and commit crimes everyday. Affiliated or not. Mr. Black's family thinks it is all an everyday "thang" until young Mr. Black gets caught. It was not a "backyard brawl."

They had robbed a woman earlier in the day.

They then went to a known drug-dealer's house to steal drug money.

Can't do the time, don't do the crime.

The victim is gone forever - they should be to.

Hey Dork, the drug dealer got immunity, that was hidden from jury, he should have been prosecuted too. If the victim was from a regular working class family, the guys would get slapped on the wrist. You only do the time when your not connected.

Yeah, drug dealer guy was made out to be a 'hero"; he could be prosecuted for his testimony; bull, the guy had already made a deal for immunity.That&the whole "gang" thing; relying on the jury's prejudices around that word; the prosecution was so amoral and skewed on so many levels.

It's always very sad when a very young person dies, when(s)he have hardly started to live, but to give all 4, even the most guilty boy, a charge of,in essence, first degree murder is so wrong!

We all have a different reality of what we believe is Justice for these four boys (sadly,not any more.11 later they are all adult men). This case is right up there with The West Memphis Three as far as gross miscarriage of justice is concerned. I am amazed...we ALL should be...that these boys are still in jail. Watch the whole documentary, it will leave you reeling.
