What's considered a high voter turnout on average in the United States? Maybe 50% on average in most places. Ron Paul does have the most passionate supporters. They make it a point to vote. What's interesting to me, being more of a liberal and, having really listened to Mr. Paul and the other nincompoops up there, I'd have to say, I like what he says! He seems true in his statements and over time has shown some consistency in his beliefs. He is the only candidate doing so.

Ron Paul is just two steps ahead of everyone...they can't see past the terror issue...they think they need the patriot act to protect us...how about going a step further and REDUCING OR REMOVING THE FOUNDATIONS THAT FOSTER "TERROR" in the first place? Too much common sense?

The media has to let Ron Paul in, because he has numbers (us) behind him, and he always will get strong applause. Consistent, and for the Constitution, he hits home runs.

Newt used to believe in some of the same thing Ron believes in, such as the torture issue he was quoted saying it is never right. But you are right as soon as they become mainstream it seems all of their ideals change.

Oh wait, he really means Arabs. But what if an Arab is profiled and they are not a Muslim? What if an American is a Muslim extremist.
Let's say there are two flights leaving Syria, one has a Christian Arab who has a one way ticket and the other has an American Muslim extremist with a one way ticket.

I'm sure North Korea has a lot less crime than us, but everyone would agree its not a nice place to live.
We have a CIA, we should try to reform it so its not an agency that picks dictators and ultimately supports our future enemies. We had the intelligence to deal with 9-11, but the bureaucracy failed.
