  • Long Live Stalin and Hoxha!

  • Where'd you find this old documentary?

  • An Albanian from Podgradec once told me a story: A French social worker visited Albania on a trip working on her book. She asked where the brothels were located? Her tour guide replied "We have none" then she replied "so you people sleep with each other's wives then".

Spoken in Albanian one can't help but laugh.

  • look at the happy people working lol

  • @Packerd01 My father in laws father was put in prison for speaking against the regime more plainly than us debating on youtube. And for how long was he put in jail? Ten years. Ten years over an opinion spoken out amongst friends in a restaurant overheard by an eavesdropper. The cost of freedom is never too much. Not when we are talking about the lives of people and under socialism people are not free.

  • @trickdaddyaz03 America's tyranny is privatized and more sophisticated. Marketing firms harvest vast amounts of info on all of us. Giant ISP's scan info from emails and net browsing

Employers can get a psych profile on you by what you do online. Your life can be ruined for what you say and it's all O.K. because it isn't the gov't that's doing it directly. Your spending habits go into your credit score which rules your life. Our Scientific Despotism is subtler yet more powerful.

  • @pakerd01 " we need to clone this guy" a je kar? Apo Ben vete ?. Ty te qifsha partine dhe. Xhaxhin sali

  • my grandfather run away from albania and when he wanted to go back he couldnt because the borders were closed. here i am now in turkey as an albanian-turkish generation. :)))

  • I always wonder why, if socialism & Hoxha are so dead, do all you clowns come out of the woodwork and cannot stop yourself from saying and doing everything to bash him and the legacy he left behind.

I cannot help but laugh at those who call the communists 'scum' and 'criminals', yet your so quick to forget that the true scum and criminals are the ones who ripped the country nearly to shreads when capitalism came.

Did any of you ever hear about what happend in 1997 in Albania?? Selective memory?

  • @JackB733 hey nothing you say will put socialism in good terms with those who understand the history and constraints of humanity. I agree with Marx in that capitalism will lead to socialism but for reasons he never could never have seen. Capitalism will lead to socialism only through technology and the capitalist markets will ensure that the best and most efficient technologies will flourish.

  • @JackB733 Only then will the most democratic outcome come about, through the most purchases which stems off from risky investments. Over 50 percent of free market businesses in America fail. There are more losers than winners. How could the most innovative technologies not be created without the sheer greed and willingness of those who have money with the incentive of making money? technologies cant, and they wont. Only through capitalism is sustainability possible.

  • @trickdaddyaz03 Nope, greed isn't the only driving factor behind innovation. There are other more significant ones. Allowing greed to become the primary motivator in economic activity has led to slavery, if it wouldn't have been for greed, we wouldn't be in a crisis today. People like socialists and others who led the fight against injustice and exploitation have made the world a better place.

  • @buzzhawk Well greed can only lead to slavery if slavery is law. Today greed leads to profit. And yes we are in a crisis today but please explain why our poor in America to this day compared to the poor in the rest of the world can live so comfortably? How can immigrants come from all over the world and make better lives for themselves than our very own poor citizens who were born on American soil? Opportunity. Jobs. Technology. All through innovation through investing out of incentive ("greed")

  • @trickdaddyaz03 Now if we consider the argument that we should be grateful that capitalism has produced everything we use today, we see that it is also illogical on the grounds that capitalism has been the dominant system for several hundred years, and it has had time to develop unlike the first attempts at building socialism.

  • @buzzhawk Very true. I agree with you 100%. Where we disagree is upon rather a socialist or capitalist system is better. Today I stand on capitalism though it is not perfect but it is a developing system which will gradually (through the adaptation of socialistic ideas in a system of constraints determined by society and nature) develop into socialism for only can capitalist efficiency, innovation, and technology lead to socialism in that the cost of living decreases as the standard rises.

  • @trickdaddyaz03 Friedrich Engels wrote in 1880:"As a matter of fact, since 1825, when the first general crisis broke out, the whole industrial and commercial world, production and exchange among all civilized peoples and their more or less barbaric hangers-on, are thrown out of joint about once every 10 years. Commerce is at a stand-still, the markets are glutted, products accumulate, as multitudinous as they are unsaleable, hard cash disappears, credit vanishes

  • @trickdaddyaz03 factories are closed, the mass of the workers are in want of the means of subsistence, because they have produced too much of the means of subsistence; bankruptcy follows upon bankruptcy, execution upon execution. The stagnation lasts for years; productive forces and products are destroyed wholesale, until the accumulated mass of commodities finally filter off, more or less depreciated in value, until production and exchange gradually begin to move again.

  • @trickdaddyaz03 Little by little, the pace quickens. It becomes a trot. The industrial trot breaks into a canter, the canter in turn grows into the headlong gallop of a perfect steeplechase of industry, commercial credit, and speculation, which finally, after breakneck leaps, ends where it began — in the ditch of a crisis."

  • @trickdaddyaz03 This way of thinking is common with social-democrats, and it's been known to fail. The welfare system of post-war Europe has been proven to be unsustainable within capitalism. We're already witnessing its dismantling today: healthcare is no longer free and universal for example, it's becoming privatized, so people who have access to it see their incomes lowered, while the unemployed are stuck without insurance.

  • @trickdaddyaz03 To say that we can’t criticize capitalism because we depend on it today would be like attacking capitalism from a feudal perspective, pointing out that capitalism could not have accomplished anything without feudalism.

  • @buzzhawk Well of course we cannot criticize it in that manner historically speaking you are correct along those lines. However to criticize capitalism from the profit or greed aspect in advocation for socialism is completely unreasonable.

  • @trickdaddyaz03 How can the pro-capitalist sing the praises of capitalist innovation when so much of that innovation is based on previous technology, in turn based on previous scientific knowledge and methodology, all dating back centuries, even thousands of years in some cases, developed by societies which existed long before the development of capitalism and the money-based economy.

  • @buzzhawk Im not following you here. You are gonna tell me that communication being affordable via satellite and wi-fi where possessed thousands of years ago? Or public (socialistic trait) transportation, the automobile came and then the bus, supporting millions in a city. Millions who go to work make a wage and keep the economy going? and out of those millions there lies talented people with ambition and oppurtuinity( capitlistic trait). Im not following you on this one.

  • @trickdaddyaz03 Public transport existed before the invention of the car as we know it today, people relied on horse and electric trams for example. The drive for innovation is not an inherent capitalistic trait. It has been with us throughout every historical age, regardless of the epoch. The fact that we have affordable and advanced communication systems today is a consequence of this historical development.

  • @trickdaddyaz03 Does capitalism owe a debt to the theocratic Islamic Caliphate, under which a great deal of crucial inventions and scientific advances were made?

  • @trickdaddyaz03 The US is in the top position today because it has the proper know-how when it comes to economic and political imperialism. What drives many immigrants is the illusion of a better life. However, reality is quite different, they face many hostilities, and it can't be said that their quality of life is actually improved once they cross the border. Opportunity for many is just an illusion. They're cheap cannon fodder for exploiters.

  • @buzzhawk Yea well tell that to the average Albanian immigrant in America who are smart, hard working, and productive. Ask them to compare their success in America to what they would have in Albania and that along with the fundamentals for which such a successful life is possible in comparison to that of a life under a socialist economy should be evident enough as to how people benefit more from American capitalism than any other socialist system in the world.

  • @buzzhawk Opportunity is not an illusion. What most people cannot comprehend is that you have to work to be successful in American capitalism and the most beautiful part of the scenario is that the work is there for those who are willing to work for it. How can a Mexican cross the boarder into this country, buy a lawnmower, bust his tail, and two or three years down the line the guy has a crew working under him compared to resorting to working for a cartel to make ends meet?

  • @trickdaddyaz03 What about those Mexicans who don't make it, those massacred by drug cartels? Mass graves of illegals trying to get in have been found near the border. Your scenario is fine for some, but for others it's not a reality. The risks involved are way too big. Also, what about the jobs which are being outsourced from America to other places? Doesn't that make it more difficult for both Americans and Mexicans to find jobs? Every sector has a limited capacity.

  • @trickdaddyaz03 And that limited capacity means that every sector becomes overcrowded and wages and profits slump. The outsourcing of jobs from the production sector means that the only way to create jobs in mass gets diminished, and generally the service sector can't compensate for that loss, in fact it's also affected by it. The same thing happens in China too. When wages get too high, production is moved from there also. So you end up being at the mercy of big capital.

  • @buzzhawk The Mexican man crosses the boarder, buys a lawnmower, busts his tail and two or three years down the line owns his own business? where is the degradation of quality of life? Or even better the Mexican man crosses the boarder and joins a crew, his quality of life skyrockets compared to a jobless life in Mexico where you couldn't even scrub a toilet for a wage. How is that for standards? Janitor wages in America would be middle class in Mexico. I am done making my point.

  • @trickdaddyaz03 I'm sure they'd love to stay and work in their own country and see their society provide them with what they need.

  • @JackB733 Capitalism does not work in countries like Albania or Mexico or any other second or third world country because these countries lack law and regulation to promote competition. American capitalism stems off from European mercantilism and has had hundreds of years to develop. Capitalism especially under poor lawmaking can be detrimental to society just as communism can. However under the right establishment capitalism flourishes as evidence by history unlike socialism or communism.

  • Communism is the biggest crime. How do I know ? My family lived under hoxha's rule , people were killed trying to escape to mal I zi , people were put ne burg for 20+years for thinking bad about communists. Anyone who praises enver or the communists are criminals , and scum..

  • @DaBoondocks1 Most of the people who whorship him are not even albanian. I´m not albanian, and I even know the guy was a douche.

  • Glória aos povos que enfrentaram e derrotaram os nazistas.

  • LAVDI PPSH!

    LAVDI XHAXHIT ENVER HOXHA!

    GLORY TO ALBANIA!

    LONGLIVE COMMUNISM!

  • @TbOoOx You are uneducated. God bless your heart though.

  • everything was lost. how could it happen? It's a great tragegy.

  • Socialism was too fine and now Albania the most poor country of Europe ? Ask question please ??? Enver HOXHA = Bİrr Bushtre

  • @alipashatepelena Albania is not the poorest country in Europe. That title goes to Moldova. And besides, Albania has better living standards than 10 European countries according to UN.

  • Thanks for uploading this video. Despite the fact that I'm not a big fan of Hoxha, I do think it's important that people know the good things that happened under his leadership. One can make an accurate judgment of a person only when one knows both the positive & negative things they did. Neither lionizing nor demonizing someone is helpful to the socialist movement.

  • billions* not millions.

"Average wage cuts: 20-40 per cent. Average price increases: 30-100+ per cent. The prices of black bread, milk and cooking oil will be protected. The IMF has demanded a drastic cut in domestic consumption and the closure of loss-making enterprises. Hundreds of telexes arrive daily at the door of the Federal government in Belgrade protesting against wage cuts."

(Branka Magaš. The Destruction of Yugoslavia: Tracking the Break-up 1980-92. London: Verso. 1993. p. 131.)

  • As someone who lived through the Socialist Albania system, I think I am qualified to say that in practice the system don't work. Thats because we humans are greedy and no matter what system they all think of themself. If few things would have been done differently in regards to Economy and the Yugoslav model would have been followed, it would have been the best place to live. No crime, no drugs, no imoral media, no rich and poor gap, free education, free mediacl care. Shame of the Economy

  • @SSMG42SS In 1980's Yugoslavia wages were cut and the country had a gigantic debt to the West and the IMF totaling in the millions. Its higher standards of living were due to its extensive trade ties with the West. Albania, which sought socialism rather than capitalism under a red flag, was internationally isolated for its efforts. 1980's Yugoslavia had more crime and such compared to Albania.

Look up "Yugoslav 'Self-Administration': A Capitalist Theory and Practice" by Enver Hoxha.

  • @Mrdie I agree that they had high debt however this was by choise. Albania debts in mean time was nearly nonexistent but for the wrong reasons. As I have said before the two areas that really brought down the communist system was centralised economy that does not really work because of human nature that is GREED and freedem of movement. Just see where China is to understand what this two things mean to the prosperity of the people.

  • 1:37 this is reall???????

  • very cheap propaganda

  • The human rights record of the Communist party in Albania was truly abhorrent but the development was truly incredible. I hope both could go hand in hand. That is where the difficulty rests in communism. As long as there exists the capitalist class, always threatening the existence of Socialist countries, then the Socialist party has no choice but to take a defensive stand, which invariably will be contrary to human rights. Albania was no different in this case.

  • @mnebiyu I agree with you.

  • @NathanielEverest Oh ok haha if u say so my friend but u have ur views and I have my views so we will just leave it at that haha.

  • @JackB733 Hey Jack I'm not trying to be a smart ass or anything honestly, but I'm just asking though if communism works like u say it does than why have countries like Russia or Cambodia decided to dissolve they're communist governments?

  • @MrStephenr18 They weren't truly communist governments, Communism hasn't existed on this planet yet.

  • What a rubbish language Albanian is. Degenerated gypsy trash of SE Europe. A country of thieves, criminals and rapists. The disgrace to Europe.

  • @joaquinveyron Do you just go around trolling videos about Albanian Socialist leaving this comment? Kinda sad.

  • good times

  • Enver Hoxha was truly and simply as a big as a (state) capitalist as John D. Rockafeller. He was no socialist, a pig and an enemy of the working class - just the same as Lenin, Stalin, and Mao.

  • @Mellokoala Clearly you don't know anything about the history of Albania then? Nor the history of Russia (USSR) OR China for that matter... As much as I know people love to spit back out all the regular anti Marxist stories you can hear from a bunch of different places, the reality you all so hate to acknowledge is that for these countries 'Communism did indeed work and it worked so well that it spread to more than half the world before revisionism infected and split the Communist world movement

  • @JackB733 Albania wasn't a socialist society, and neither was the USSR. Any SERIOUS Marxist, realizes this. This wasn't socialism, it was state capitalism. I don't hate to acknowledge this. Capitalist in top hats weren't clenching their fist because the "working class" achieved communism! Communism spread through the world because of Soviet Comintern Imperialism, not a popular movement. If your able to justify a totalitarian dictator (Hoxha) then your not a Marxist or socialist, your a nut.

  • @Mellokoala Oh ok, I see now. Your one of those utopianists that seem think somehow world Communism will happen peacefully overnight. Well, I wish you were right, I really do. But a little thing called reality and material condictions must be reconized. Now I am not saying Enver Hoxha was perfect. But before you go calling people 'nuts' and other names that just make you look ignorant, you should LEARN something about what Albania was between WWII and the collapse of socialism in the early 90's.

  • @JackB733 I'm no scholar on the history of communism in Albania, theres no need to be. Albania was a totalitarian society and Hoxha was a whore of Stalin. I don't understand, I really do not understand how your able to ignore the obvious truths of this country - YOU have no right to speak of "reality". And its ironic for YOU to call me a "utopianist"! You hold your "culture-communism" so dear to your heart that you're able to convince your mind to swallow this bullshit communist nostalgia.

  • @Mellokoala You only call it bullshit because your too ignorant to know otherwise. You know that Stalin is still popular popular and supported by many pensioners, veterans, and elderly Russians, the ONLY ONES THAT ACTUALLY LIVED UNDER HIM. Look it up. And it is the same with Hoxha. I can introduce you to Albanians that actually lived through it.

Your just a parriot of the stories and western versions of history you've heard.

Just another cocky smart ass who thinks he knows everything. Fail

  • @Mellokoala Seriously, what you are going on and writing is old debunkable anti-Communist bullshit. I have never said Enver Hoxha, or any Socialist country was perfect. But you don't know anything about Albania, Hoxha, or Stalin except the standard garbage that you can lift off Wikipedia.

Plus, now that your resorting to insults and such, you've just further shown your ignorance and how pathetic you really are.

I would go troll another video if I were you. Your work here has failed.

  • Albania and Venezuala are probably the closest Marxism has ever come to becoming a reality.

  • @Jasonthegaiface man, unfortunately i don't know almost anything about Albania, but, to say that Venezuela is the closest country which has becoming the Marxist theory a reality is, at least, ingenuous, im venezuelan, living in venezuela since i was born, and a socialism believer, and i can tell you something: the country is just going down! almost as worst as the "capitalist times"

  • enver hoxha was great man. down with greeks and serbs.

  • @albanypjm LOL that's Hoxhaite-ism for ya!

  • Ky "patriot" i madh 1 shka apo grek nuk e ka vra. Ndersa shqiptare...

  • that period had same good things But now is better

  • @Ledian0088 Yeah. 12% unemployment. Things are MUCH better.

  • @policestory Thought it was around 40%.

  • How great and wonderful the Peoples Socialist Republic of Albania used to be under the brilliant leadership of comrade Enver Hoxha the defender of Marxism-Leninism. Glory to Marxism-Leninism and to the PPSH.

  • @FriedrichHeinrich It is that kind of mentality that holds these people back. This socialist mentality is destroying Greece. This sense of unsustainable entitlement under any circumstance. Coercion clearly does not work socially. Collectivism clearly does not work economically. But somewhere in your head there is this fantasy that the economic and social structures of socialism can work from all spectrum's when in fact the can't and won't.

  • @FriedrichHeinrich YES you can see Albania now is a World Super Power and the people are happy to live there and through these times.

  • Yo China, I'm really happy for ya, Imma let you finish, but the People's Republic of Albania was the most advanced socialist state of all time!

  • Long live the workers unity !!!

Deat the capitalism, fascism and racism !!!

Unite against the money grabbing politicians !!!

Unite against the mafias and gangs !!!

    Stop the police crimes !!!

  • @workergirls oh yeah and im sure your communism utopia will do that. go back into your lil dream world where everyone holds hands cuz i live in the real world... a cold harsh place where a man needs morals and courage to thrive. thats capitalism survival of the strongest

  • e shqiperia e shkrete dhe sa halle e probleme do kalosh akoma nga kjo periudhe qe kalove dhe mjere populli shqiptar qe e hoqi ne kurriz komunizmin.............

  • good! enjoy your freedoms!

  • @endrief1

I responded to your point about capitalism and youtube which you obviously can't handle because your argumentative skills are weak. Stop trying to change the subject, moron. Ohh yeah, learn to spell.

  • @jumpnjza2

my argumentative skills are weak and this is a result of a family separation which led me to logical knowledge rather than the school textbook one you acquire...and oh yea...that family separation is due to the communism you support and are so fond of...as far as spelling goes...you can come and occupy my left nut with your mouth since my right one is busy right now...this is youtube, not NATO's summit! your tech support job is waiting for you my indian friend...n'rrat somes!

  • @endrief1

    "my argumentative skills are weak"

I win, you lose. Now fuck off.

  • @jumpnjza2

its sad indians dont know what irony is,,,,very sad!

im not competing with you loser...! ok fine...you win! congratulations on you victory! go celebrate with some curry!

:) you dont have to comment back winner!

  • @endrief1

You should come here and see what life is like for the vast majority, here in CAPITALIST India.

  • I have been in India several times for several purposes...now tell me, when did you last go to experience Albania, my Indian friend?

  • RROFT Xhaxhi Enver Hoxha Gjithmon ne Zemrat Tona PPSH nr1

  • The accomplishments made in the development of all aspects of the socialist society in the Socialist People's Republic of Albania in just 40 years are quite amazing.

As of 1984 Albania was100% electrified, had no taxes, no inflation, no unemployment, complete educational system, total woman's emancipation, complete & free healthcare, ect.

Despite massive losses and damage during WWII, the Albanian people created a nation that was a beacon of truth and hope for the people's world struggle!

  • @JackB733 It's pretty easy to claim there was no unemployment in a socialist society. Education they had, complete and free healthcare they had, liberty and complete freedom they did not. Food shortages kept the working people waiting in lines, Coercion kept the people of the so called "Peoples Republic" in check throwing citizens of political opposition in prison. As to womans emancipation, there was little as society was partriachal and women comformed to the men in the housholds.

  • @trickdaddyaz03 I don't know what your background or story is, but you don't really seem to know much about what your talking about....

Now, as I've said before, I don't think Socialist Albania, Enver Hoxha, or any socialist country did everything perfect. But do you realize that before Enver Hoxha, Albania was a feudal country and had very little changes since the dark ages until the PPSH came to power and revolutionized the country?

You really should look at the history there before you talk

  • @JackB733 To that end you may be right, Albania has made industrial progress as a result of this time period. But when someone supports a video that inaccurately portrays these times as some kind of perfect society making cheap and uneducated cliams, "no unemployment", "no taxes", further perpetuating this portrayal I will attempt to correct them. This video served as socialist propaganda and nothing more.

  • @trickdaddyaz03 Every, and I mean every, nation has created proaganda videos, the USA probably being the number 1.

But it is true that in Albania under Hoxha there was no unemployment, and in almost every way the working class was better off and had more access and oppertunities. I do support this video because it ACCURATELY protrays the good things about the People's Socialist Republic of Albania. As I have said, it was NOT perfect, but it was a hell of allot better than what Albania is today.

  • @JackB733 Economically NO unemployment came at the cost of the people. Every working class citizen was better better off only if you see waiting in line for meat and milk sufficient. This video portrays Albania, that is it's intentions only. The intention was not to show just the "good things", but the just the country as it was (the portrayal), while behind the curtains they did not flourish the way the video implies. Dont hide behind your own take on the video.

  • @trickdaddyaz03 It's not my own take brother, it's just the way it was. Stop obsessing over the meat and milk que lines, that only came about later on at the end. Once again, I'll explain, Albania had NOTHING at all before Hoxha. Barely any road systems, school systems, medical, military, housing, and no infastructure. And then all the things shown in this video was given to the people, and a stable life was provided.... Argue all you want, nothing will change that fact.

  • In 1991, when given an opportunity, a million people (roughly 25 %) of the population of Albania fled either to Greece or Italy. They protested at home and tore up the "holy works" of Hoxha into confetti. They demanded the end of the monopoly of the Party on the life of the nation. Man does not live by bread alone, you know...Hoxha ruled by stark terror. The moment the fear lifted the slightest bit, people went mad with rage. The human race, as a rule, makes lousy slaves.

  • @dzeveenravdan

Yeah Hoxha was very controversial. He made women socially completely equal to men, he instituted both free education and healthcare for everyone. But on the other side there was a presence of strong state-atheism and terror.

  • Comment removed

  • @JackB733

Why dont you Albanian gypsies go back to your communistic shithole of Albania, instead of being a plague to Europe as a bunch of thieves, criminals and rapists, you degenerated lowlives??? Nobody in Europe needs you.

  • @joaquinveyron Because we want to fuck your mother this is why as for gypsy's you would be jealous how white I'm moron so don't eat too shit it makes bad for your health.

    Fuck Communism.

  • @JackB733 you have bought into the propaganda way too much. Even though Socialist Albania did accomplish some things, such as electricity, they lacked tremendously in other areas when compared to the rest of Eastern Europe because of its extremely oppressive regime. People were not allowed to travel in or out of Albania without very special permits and visas, therefore Albania was the only reality people had. If it wasn't for Enver Hoxha's 50 year iron fisted rule, Albania would be prosporou

  • @JackB733

    No taxes? Source?

  • @JackB733 No taxes Jackb733? Really? Please explain to me how that worked, free health care and no taxes? No inflation? of course because people where over worked and did not get paid for their hard labor all for the greater good, their was no need to increase the currency or barrow under such slaving conditons. I would really love to hear how total womens emanciation could be directly attributed to socialism in Albania. Socialist hope died when the people spoke at the fall of the soviets!

  • Albania had a better functioning infastructure 25 years ago. Sad, really...

  • @joel1923 Are you fucking kidding me? Have you even been to Albania lately?

  • @exenter2 When you look at the crime rate, poor electrical grid, and general shabbiness (not to mention the rainbow colored buildings-thank you, Rama), I would say Albania looked better with grey concrete buildings and socialism than it does now.

Under Communism you could walk down the street at 3 o'clock morning and you were safe. Have you tried doing that recently? :)

  • @joel1923 Yes, and I felt completely safe.

  • Comment removed

  • @joel1923 Don't you know the Law Of The Jungle is FREEDOM? To be visually assaulted by ubiquitous and tawdry commercialism is FREEDOM.

Does Albania enjoy the illusion of better living now? All that fake prosperity comes with a Faustian price. The banksters WILL get their pound of flesh.

Albania under Hoxha celebrated all things Albanian. Today's Albania has learned how to worship western corporations and their soulless power. They will pollute their souls with American hip hop.

  • @InfiniteMushroom I'm not saying that life under hoxha was a bowl of cherries(, but at least there was order. Albanian girls were not being kidnapped and sold into sexual slavery in the rest of Europe. It's easy for rich Eurotrash to visit Albania, stay in expensive hotels, and tell everyone how wonderful modern life is; but the reality is what it is. Albania suffered a disorderly collapse 20 years ago, and the worst of western culture seem to seep into the country.

  • no we are waiting for your Yugoslavian sisters.

  • @KorcarStar

Albanian communists fought alongside Yugoslav Partisans in WW2, don't let these bullshit capitalist/nationalist wars of the 90's era divide you!!!

  • But you must remember that after Stalin's death, and then even further after Mao's death, Albania was basically cut off by their only "allies" in the socialist world.

Hoxha wanted to take Albania down the 'correct' Socialist road, which had revisionism back towards capitalism not taken hold in the USSR, would have lead to much further advancment and higher living. Hoxha wanted to stay true to his nations founding Ideology which had the socialist stayed their course, would have worked great.

  • So you're suggesting that the Albania of today, which is extremly crimed plauged and infested with gansters and prostitutes, is much better than what you had? In many places in Albania of today anarchy rules and such things as blood fueds, like hundreds of years ago, are happening with no end in sight.

I realize that things have ALWAYS been tough in Albania. But looking at the problems in Albania today, it seems like Hoxha's time may have been some of their best days.

    Not always, but over all.

  • @JackB733 "So you're suggesting that the Albania of today, which is extremly crimed plauged and infested with gansters and prostitutes"

You have never been in Albania, have you? Where do you get your sources? Serbianna?

  • The BEST leader to imagine!!! He stands at the same level as Scanderbeg!

  • Enver Hoxha is a Hero to the Great Albanian People!!!

    Long Live the Marxist-Leninist Revolution!

  • Their you go again ranting and ravin, sounding just like the complete ignorant moron you are!

Slave labour? No Hard labour? Yes!

The nation of Albania was completly torn apart and ransacked by years of war against foreign imperialists.

Yet in 40 years under the TRUE Marxist-Leninist leadership of Enver Hoxha, the people of Albania built a far better nation for themselves. Hospitals, education, employment, and the economy all seen very large gains. The people saw real growth like never before!

  • Comment removed

  • Look at the courruption plauged Albania of today... Are they honestly better off after the fall of socalism?? Absoutly not!

    Long live the Socalist Revoultion!!!

  • Workers of the world UNITE against fascist-capitalist monsters and Save our planet !!! LONG LIVE GREAT COMMUNISM= DEATH TO FASCISM AND ITS DECAY CAPITALISM !!!

  • you don't understand that it's not capitalism that invented internet, it's communism therefore you're surfing freely, what can communism do to burn those ignorant thoughts in your mind?

The internet was not produced by capitalists, it was developed by the state sector during the Cold War. The real engine for innovation in many countries has been R&D which is pretty much always state sponsored, that's why they pump billions of dollars into Universities. Youtube was founded by students who studied in a state university. Governments that privatise universities and hand R&D over to the free-market will see innovation stagnate.
