Ha, I've heard people use the towel trick in IIDX. Didn't think people did it in Guitar Hero, too.

Drape a towel over the top of the TV so that it covers the back of the track. You can adjust it so it covers up as much as you want.  The idea is that you see fewer notes at once, and psychologically, you get less confused.

well probably bark at the moon is hardest. then i'd say decontrol. fire it up was surprisingly easy. decontrol i got in less than a day but fire it up was easier lol. i'd say get ready 2 rokk was probably harder than fire it up and decontrol for me.

1. bark at the moon

2. fire it up

3. get ready 2 rokk

4. decontrol

5. texas flood

this list is accurate in the sense that bark at the moon takes the most skill, then fire it up, etc etc...but i think it really depends on the person. fire it up happened to be really easy for me for some reason, and was a lot easier for me to fc than decontrol.

the funny thing is that i always atleast 4* bark at the moon, fire it up, and texas flood on expert, but never have beat gr2r. in fact, the highest difficulty i can beat deconrol on is medium.

i strum everything on fc runs, but i can do pretty well using hammerons in gh1. it's really hard to explain, you just gotta kinda get a feel for them. it's easier and more reliable to learn to strum everything, though.

well it really depends on the specific guitar, but in my experience i generally prefer black SGs. however i'm currently using a red SG that i consider acceptable. i'd much rather have a nice black sg, but the one i'm using works.
