Sure there are lots of artists better than Bob Dylan, but he is also great according to the rest of the world. So your opinion of something is always correct then? Are you god? @mhuffman2882 Yes. The whole premise for singing is to change vocal tones. If you think Rap is talking to a beat, then the same thing applies for country music. It's people with southern accents talking to a beat, yet it's called music. So where do you get your logic from? There's a reason why the music industry have things called genre, and you will find rap in music stores.

@Perrseus Some rappers do sing yes but not all. By definition, rap is monotuous and singing is melodic. Just because there is music in the background, doesn't mean that he is singing. I come from a musical family too and I know what I'm talking about. I'm not saying that he's a bad rapper because he is a great rapper. It's just not singing. There is nothing melodical in his voice.

dear lord, his performance tonight was INCREDIBLE. his creativity is honestly inspiring...just his lyrics alone were indescribable. I'm done with all the negative comments and all the people hating on this kid-he honestly can spread an awesome message with his words. It is astonishing how talented he is at the age of 15....I dont care if you think rap "is easy"...try re-writing some of the greatest songs from MJ, eminem, Jay like this kid does
