  • I want to eat it in the fresh grow state

  • hi try mixing it with yogurt and water.salr to taste of course. It works for me.

  • Just chew up and swallow a clove, pussy.

  • After 2 yrs of experimentation I now mix the minced garlic with raw honey My 5 yo son & I take about 2 cloves a day FYI when garlic is chopped/crushed Allicin is created, a compound that is antibacterial, antiviral, antiparasitic, etc Allicin gives raw garlic its biting, stinging quality Don't heat raw garlic Find more on Allicin on Wikipedia I take yogurt with my raw garlic to replace probiotics Garlic/honey mixture keeps in the fridge so I can make a lot at once. Google Garlic Twist

  • i got a hayfever and every morning when i get out of bed i sneeze with runny nose like crazy . yesterday i try to eat 2 bulks of garlic without food as soon as i get up. Magically this morning i got up no sneeze but a little bit of running nose not as bad at all. It's maybe too early to confirm it is working but i can see the big change there so my aim is i will try at least other 3 days

  • the best way i have found was cooking it, i dont know if that will do anything to the garlic itself but when cooked i could chew on one without throwing it up or spit it out. It still have somewhat of a strong garlic taste but cooked you can still taste the spiciness of the garlic but i guess i can handle wierd food like that dont know if you guys can but cooking it for me always helps

  • An other good way to eat garlic are spread raw garlic on top of each dish you have even salads !

  • gotta love that splash on 1:42

  • @dankot87 rofl

  • gotta love that splash on 1:42

  • just swallowed with some water, goes down easily, you can barely taste it (if you are fast)

  • i luv garlic in everything. i don't give a shit if it gives me bad breath. back where i come from (romania) sheepherders used to eat for breakfast (especially in the winter) a few slices of dried, salted pork fat and a clove of garlic. maybe they knew something!

  • Awe, come on....you just fed it to the camera...ha ha ha

I've eaten 3 heads of elephant garlic in one sitting. However, it was roasted with olive oil, spread on toasted sourdough, along with baked brie and sliced tomato.........mmmmm delicious!!!

Warning: this should be done on a Friday or when you have at least 2 or 3 days for the garlic to purge from your system. I was reamed from my coworkers for smelling like a garlic factory. It was coming out my pores for days..didn't get a cold though.

  • There is absolutely no scientific evidence for your claims, it's just something you believe. I'm sure if you did an objective study, you would find Garlic has no effect on the duration of a cold.

  • @JasonMarano You statement is idiotic and can be disproven quickly and easily. There have been many studies over the last century in every corner of the world. Why make such a stupid statement that can be disproven in minutes of internet research or by checking the footnotes in any book on garlic?

  • @mensacyclist Another thing I want to bring up is your claim of "it will take care of a cold - will be gone super quick - will not run full course". Studies cannot be done on garlics alone to determine whether or not it has healing properties but the study is rather done on it's chemical properties of its physical components. <- THIS has been researched thoroughly all over the world. And to my knowledge garlic at the most has a small percentage of "healing chemicals" if it does heal you because

  • @mensacyclist continuation - because a garlic clove is at the most 85% water, 13% organic matter, and like all plants, the rest of it is composed of inorganic matter. The MAIN organic matter is allicin, which is at the most, anti-bacterial and anti-fungeal and most people have smelled this compound once in their lives since it's the "smell of garlic" - so to speak. Inorganic matter.

  • @mensacyclist continuation #2 - Sorry for typing a paragraph but I just feel it is necessary to share first-hand researcher/student knowledge with people concerned about food and it's benefits. I just wanted to conclude that the healing properties you experience are more of a psychology related healing property. Your perception of your body getting better as you eat garlic has a lot to do with this along with your pituitary gland's POSSIBLE reaction to the consumption of garlic thus producing...

  • @mensacyclist continuation #3 - ....thus producing more "hormone producing hormones" - used by your immune system to produce more white blood cells (can't be specific since again... your intake of garlic causes a different positive feedback in your body - as I personally don't get better by simply consuming garlic). I hope this cleared this case for youtube's viewers, have a great day!

  • @albertolinguini Yes, you cleared it up. You are wise and we are all fools prone to delusions. I'll stop eating garlic now.

  • @mensacyclist I personally love eating food with garlic, just not eating it that way or taking it for any reason whatsoever, specially keep count of how many times a day I eat it. But I'm still one to say do whatever you like, you only live once anyway.

  • @JasonMarano You BIG DUMMY!!

  • @JasonMarano I had a cold that was in the developmental stages a few weekends ago. I tried to eat as much garlic as I could and the shit worked! I was only sick for a day or two and the cold never came to complete fruition. The garlic worked great and I will be using it again the next time these people on my bus get me sick!

  • I just ate one clove yesterday when a cold was whooping my ass, along with warm lemon juice and honey, a bowl of chicken soup and some night cold medicine and the cold was gonzo the next day. I just ate another clove raw with some potato and rice, it burned the crap out of my mouth but immediately I feel the minor left over sinus congestion leaving, its amazing stuff.

  • Ironic if you think about it; you're promoting a great natural whole food (garlic) but then you took it with a processed food (the chip). The [S]tandard [A]merican [D]iet consists of mostly processed foods, which is why we get sick to begin with. I'm a firm believer in the power of garlic. I take it daily (religiously) and I haven't been sick in over a year, whereas I used to get sick EVERY year like clockwork (since my childhood) in November; not this year. :)

  • I eat about 4 to 6 cloves a day, every day - I just rough chop raw peeled fill half a shot glass, fill the rest with water and shoot it. It works perfectly, but I am stinky when I am on it.

The average size of the pieces I eat are like a cm cubed or a little less

  • Garlic contains Allicin, a natural antibiotic. Garlic needs to be sliced, diced or opened up to oxygen for 5-10 minutes for the Allicin to become effective. Because raw garlic can burn the GI tract it is recommended to start on one clove a day and increase by one clove a day until you reach three cloves and no pain. Exposing it to the microwave or heat will deplete the Allicin, so don't bother. Elephant ear or large garlic (German) does not provide enough Allicin to bother with.

  • Very simple method: I just bite off pill size pieces and swallow them whole washing them down with water. This way you do not have to prepare anything extra and you avoid the burn by not holding it in your mouth for very long. I try to eat one a day depending on how many people I am going to be around... Some people really don't like it when you smell like garlic and sometimes I care about making a good impression but for the sake of good health I don't really care that much.

  • @MrHelloDavidHello - That's exactly how I take mine daily. Simple, and it works. No need to mash up other ingredients. :)

  • you can chew it without taste. dont mix with anything.

chips have artificial additivs very bad to health.

  • @TheMrAlexrj Corn, oil, and salt are artificial ingredients????

  • @mensacyclist no. the problem is the caned food and the chips.

they put a lot of chimical products on it.

  • @TheMrAlexrj Again Mr. Alex, please tell me how corn, corn oil, and salt are artificial ingredients. Because that is all that is in my chips.

  • @mensacyclist although I want to support you on that statement, I`m a medicical student, and as of now studying under Dr. Sanjoy Ghosh - Nutrition PHD. The first thing (you) we learn about "ingredients" is unless you witness the production of your food first hand, you are ABSOLUTELY UNSURE about it's contents.

  • Microwave it, and I just eat it raw, I like the burn!

  • Wow i am in heaven. I eat a whole bulb of garlic daily. My family dont eat it but they are happy to prepare it for me. I have MS (but I use that as an excuse to eat even more!!)

Garlic, good quality x-virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon in food processor and MIX AWAY! When I want to put a twist in it, I add a little dijon mustard before processing or sambal oelek

  • floating around online ppl are saying garlic is a poison.. ? whats the deal

  • @FletcherHabit The deal is that some people are mindlessly repeating the insane rantings of a guy named "Dr." Robert Beck. There are a couple videos of him here on Youtube. The guy is clearly metally ill and makes insane statements that are easily be disproved. There are people who still believe the world is flat too....nothing you can do to help the F-tards.

  • i eat it raw, its yummy

  • @NcompWlianceO zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Wow, you can read idiotic things on the internet and mindlessly repeat them. Congratulations.

  • Garlic sauce and hummus the kind that they serve in middle eastern restrants.

  • Just peel it and eat it. It's not that bad. I use garlic in dam near everything I eat; plus I eat a raw head or two each day. I love it and it keeps the wife at bay. : )

  • Usage Usage: when healthy

Average 150 to 200 lbs take one table spoon daily...1/2 hour before a meal.

    adjust accordingly by weight.

if you think your coming down with a cold or flu take three times a day! ( or more till symptoms are gone)

    more water and no sugar..

  • Go to the super market and get

Garlic, Onions, Horseradish root, Ginger root, Peppers(hot as you like) and a gallon of Apple cider vinegar

Also a case of quart canning jars

Blend or puree each using the vinegar as the base liquid

Distribute to canning jars putting equal amounts of each into each canning jar....... fill not more than 2/3 to 3/4 full and then top off with apple cider vinegar.

Okay thats it.....put on the lids and store cool dark place

  • my favorite and very tasty way to eat raw garlic is with avocado. Try - you will like it!

  • why didnt you scoop out the garlic with your spoon.. LOL

  • Oh gwad a idiot who prolly thinks baked pizza is still a vegtable ... Stupid vid n tk this song off u dont kno shyt

  • ANOTHER WAY OF EATING GARLIC WITHOUT THE SMELL.

    1) MINCE GARLIC

2)PUT ANY YOGURT ON A TABLESPOON

3)PUT MINCED GARLIC ON YOGURT AND COVER GARLIC WITH ANOTHER LAYER

    OF YOGURT.

    4) EAT IT LIKE YOU ARE TAKING COUGH MEDICINE AND DON'T CHEW

TRY IT AND YOU WILL THANK ME FOR THAT!.

  • IF YOU DON'T MIND THE SMELL IN YOUR MOUTH YOU CAN DO IT MY WAY.

    1) MINCE TWO OR THREE PIECES OF GARIC.

    2) SPREAD TWO SLICES OF BREAD WITH MAYO AND A LITTLE BLUEBERRY JAM

    3) PUT THE MINCED GARLIC AND MAKE A SANDWICH.

IT IS VERY VERY TASTY . TRY IT YOU WILL LOVE IT!

  • meanwhile in the related videos : "Eating garlic is toxic for the body". hahaha

  • I'd rather have a flu that lasts for a whole month than having garlic smell jumping out of each pore of my body. *trollface*

  • I hope this posting will reach 1.000.000 viewers! Garlic!!!

  • I will def try this...You are BRILLIANT!! :) Love salsa. Love garlic.

  • Grab yourself a bunch of the leaves from flat leaf parsley. Chew them up raw, this removes the smell of garlic on your breath.

Muriel xx Thanks for posting mensacyclist.

  • you can also, boil on low how ever many cloves you want with vinegar let them cool and jar them. Raw is probably better for you detoxing, while boiling would take out a lot of the intensity of flavor.

  • Can't eat garlic cuz I'm a vampire

  • I eat raw garlic every day. I mince it, let it sit for 10-15 minutes, and down it with a glass of water. It's not so bad and doesnt burn really at all. I eat it after a meal, so as to not upset my stomach.

  • In 3rd grade. kids brought apples for snack time. I brought raw garlic. parnets got a phone call that i couldnt bring that for a snack any more. sad times

  • @ubernoob77 hilarious!!!

  • Use a juicer and a shot glass

  • just pop that clove raw. it's tasty!

i think you're eating too much though... a head a day? one time i ate a massive clove raw and it gave me a headache, which is indicative of "garlic overdose". all good things in moderation. otherwise it stops being a good thing...

  • When I eat pressed garlic straight, it burns my stomach like hell. So now I make a slurry with olive oil, which eliminates the stomach burning. I place about 1/2t of the slurry on my tongue and add about an ounce of warm water to aid getting it down. Two big cloves daily, for mercury detox. Adding olive oil also kills the very strong taste (by about 95%) of the 3/4t ground cloves and 3/4t of ground black pepper and 1Tbsp turmeric I take daily as anti-oxidants.

  • GOD THAT LOOKS SO YUMMY... I LOVE GARLIC I DON'T COOK WITHOUT IT....

  • Another way is to eat it w/ healthy fatty oil, like flaxseed oil or olive oil.I wouldn't eat raw garlic alone as it can be too irritating to the stomach. The salsa, or fatty complimentary oils are good delivery methods.

  • Just peal it and cut it into quarters and swallow like a pill. enzymes in your saliva kill the allicin. when you grind it up or chop it more of it comes into contact with saliva.

  • have you read articles about garlic toxicity; just saying. Put me off eating garlic for good

  • that is so much garlic lol

  • I found Garlic with Sour cream is delisious and works well, but I dont often chop or mush with that - I eat 1 clove Garlic 3 x a day, it tastes good and the sour cream stops that burn you get with the raw garlic.

When I dont have sour cream I just use my Blackmores Extra strength Garlic, Horse Radish & Vitamin C Tablets-Though if you dont like the idea of eating the clove whole, chopping it up in some sour cream works as a really nice dip, add some chives and its great for chips

  • Salsa? Nope, I would eat the damn garlic as it is!

Actually, I'd like to cause it tastes great, but I don't want to stink..

  • I just eat the clove...three a day. That looks like a lot of effort when you could just eat it.

  • 10 cloves thats crazy

  • I just eat it plain, in chunks

  • When I eat garlic ( much the same way you do) my friends complain that i reek of it how do I deal with this? Thanks!

  • @KamranIsaac Nothing you can do about it.

  • I would be careful with that amount of garlic mate! Garlic is a blood thinner...you are over doing the safe intake...just a heads up!

  • @KamranIsaac wash your clothes with lemon or even try a lemon body wash, lemon mints..anything lemon. may help .. even a suana or a hot shower can also burn off some of the sulfides which are what is contributing to the strong smell of garlic. eat colder like foods it'll help keep the sulfides at bay it takes 3 days for the sulfides to evaporate from the blood stream. best of luck or tell encourage your friends to eat garlic then they wont notice it lol :P

  • @catnipstraws Thank you so much :)

  • @KamranIsaac shower/bath with vinegar. :)

  • @KamranIsaac Here's an old tip that will certainly stop your friends complaining of garlic breath. Simply take a tumbler half filled with tapwater, add a big piece of horseshit (but any kind of shit will do) and gargle for as long as you can manage. Hey presto, you will not get any more complaints from your friends!

  • @KamranIsaac sauna

  • i am thinking about eating raw garlic for loosing weight..

i heard it works great ...

i wonder how much u weigh.. ater eating 7 cloves a day???

do u think it helps in the weigh loss ??

  • @ishyx0x Eating garlic will do absolutely nothing in regards to losing body fat. I'm a 237 lb. weight lifter.

  • @ishyx0x stop eating carbs and sugars.

  • @ishyx0x a littlee garlic is good . to much garlic is very bad.

the chinese say it can sometimmes be used for cancer but to much will cause cancer

  • Garlic dip salsa!!!!!!

  • If you enjoy olives, put the garlic into the pitted olive. Salsa is an awesome idea too.

  • @r3qtpies Yes, I figured out the olive thing a while back. Definitely a good way to get it in you.

  • HERE IS A IDEA HOW TO GET IT IN YOU ...GET A JUICER AND JUICE LOTS OF GARLIC WITH TOMMATOS OR WHATEVER VEGGIES YOU WISH BUT KEY IS LOTS OF GARLIC PURE GARLIC JUICE YUMMY :)

  • mmm i love Garlic ! It's great in Humus 2 =)

  • What about taking garlic extract? Does that have the same effect or does it have to be raw?

  • @rourba india is country who consume more garlic than other nations

  • I bought a garlic roaster and you simply roast it in the roaster for 27 mins then let it cool and squeeze it out of the bulb. It will have the consistency of butter. I can then mix it with my beans or veggie soup etc. I have found that roasting does NOT lessen the ability of garlic to considerably lower my blood pressure which I monitor myself. It goes down pretty easy when roasted, I usually do a full bulb a day

  • Some countries eat Garlic daily, #1 China, Africa

  • I think the best way is to take it like a pill....

Get a good sized(not too big) piece of garlic. Then wash it down with water. I do about half a clove at once. I do this for half a bulb a day...quarter clove morning, other quarter night.

Goes down good. Doesn't burn. Plus I got a big esophagus eh?

  • 7~9 cloves 2~3 times a day.. Isn't that alot o_O ?

  • @Palafury 2-3 times a day? Who's doing that? If I were sick i might do that for a day or two but not on a regular basis.

  • @mensacyclist ohh ok lol, nice vid btw.. actually a fucking cool way to have garlic! I just tried chewing it on it's own.. and meh.. the kick -.-'

  • i read somewhere that eating too much Garlic can damage your digestive track or something dunno if thats true or not though.

  • I recently found an even better way of getting it down in massive quantities. Grind it up in the food processer like in the video. Then scoop it out one rounded teaspoon at a time. Put it in your mouth then instantly chase it down with MILK. Almost no burn this way. I can get down 4-5 average sized cloves in two spoonfuls. It might burn in your stomach for a while but I haven't puked yet! And the feeling subsides in 10-15 min.

  • @mensacyclist whenever my mom gets sick this will be her new way. (she tends to catches frequent colds) so maybe even inducing this on a regular basis will prevent ALL colds. lol

you notice you dont get sick and are confident you wont? lol. its cuz of garlic!

  • @mensacyclist I went onto Curezone dot com and found a posting that a person said he stuffed potato balls with the garlic and then downed it. I did that way but after a meal on a somewhat full stomach. It didn't burn much except when it hit my gums if there wasn't enough potato used. You can quickly kill the burn with a bit of sugar. Hope this helps. There is a way to combine it with something else to make a potent antibiotic. Message me I will will tell you more. Cybelle

  • @mensacyclist I did the garlic thing only once and haven't done it since. I just read the video by andreas moritz, titled 'eating garlic is very toxic for the body' uploaded by enerchi dot com. I think I will follow his advice as it's less painful and safer. Cybelle

  • @mensacyclist You need to listen to that pain and know intuitively that something is wrong. Honestly, I would only use raw garlic as an antibacterial typical ointment mixed with honey of course; it's an antiseptic.

  • Hahaaa I like this... when im cummin down with a shitty cold again ima try this.... I eat at least 2 cloves a day but Like you say the more the better when you got a cold...

  • @Iamfukenripped Oh btw... with my 2 clove mission... i have it on a sandwich with cheese ... cheese kills the burn...

  • oh an i also chopp it up an put it in salsa ,its YUM

  • 7 or 8 cloves a day??? wow thats alot ,i been eating one clove a day,i like putting a few in chicken noodle soup an letting it simmer ..makes the soup spicy an hot love it

  • i just ate raw garlic it burns Like a pepper !

and what can i do about the awful garlic smell in my mouth ?

  • @rm04ever Nothing! You can brush your teeth a million times but the smell realy comes from your stomach. My wife HATES it.

  • @rm04ever no, you can do something about the smell. i eat garlic everyday and my stepfather is in naturopathic medicine so i heard this from him. all you need to do is swish some lemon juice around in your mouth or suck on a few slices of lemon a few minutes after you brush your teeth. works like a charm!

  • @rm04ever u can chop the garlic into TINY peices .....take the garlic on a spoonful of honey...u can chew it that way ,or just swallow like a pill....make sure u chop it small though!

  • hay thank you very much. i tried garlic when i had fleu, espacially throat infection.it really works. but i add 1 chopped garlic into a cup of yougurt and cubed cucumber. with salt and peppe. i eat it three times a day for three days. the flue is gone. you can notice for the first time you eat it. sometimes i just blend one garlic eith cup of yougurt and drink it

  • well my way that im doing right now is I crush it with a knife, put it on knife, slide into mouth like taking a pill, swallow like taking a pill. Absolutely no burn that way. How much is a clove anyway? So you got the whole head of garlic, then there are the bulbs, is a clove a portion of the bulb or the whole thing?

  • @BMoses16 A "head" and a bulb are two names for the same thing....I think. The individual pieces are called cloves. Of course some cloves are much larger/smaller than others so it's not really an accurate way of measuring your garlic consumption.

  • @mensacyclist I just started eating raw garlic after I heard about all the health benifits. Is eating two small cloves a day a decent amount? How much is recomended or how much would you suggest?

  • @six80ususus I think it's one of those "the more the better" things. However, two cloves a day is pretty significant. It's much better to eat two cloves a day CONSISTANTLY than eat a whole lot of cloves every once in a while.

  • @MsEtidorhpa If you believe in nonsense like "homosphere-synchronisation" then your ability to make rational decisions has ALREADY been impaired. If you make dietary/health desicions from internet articles written by some whacko then you'll wind up getting exactlly what you deserve.

  • @MsEtidorhpa I did. All I saw was the same one kooky article copied and pasted onto several websites. Garlic has been considered to have positive, medicinal qualities for thousands of years. An article written by some whacko is not going to change that. I'll take my chances.

  • Sorry the 2nd part of my post came first. Read the 2nd one first

  • Put said garlic on a spoon and squeeze some honey on it. Put it in mouth and let it sit kind of close to the back of your mouth. Put a little bit of water in your mouth and sort of shake your head so the clumped garlic kind of moves around as 1 piece and.....swallow. Drink about 1/2 a bottle of water to get it down quickly. You will have non of the "hot" garlic mouth.

  • You have to be a good pill swallower to do it how it, but you won't get that "I just ate a bunch of garlic" feeling. I do it for the same reason you do (zap colds). Take 4 or 5 cloves, food process it or crush it, let it sit 5 minutes as this makes it more theraputically potent.

  • I mince 3 -4 cloves blend it in raw apple cider vinigar and some agave nectar stir and swallow fast every time I start to get a sore throat or a cold

  • What also helps for a cold is to self induce fever. Wrap yourself in blankets and drink tea (with lemon and honey) to raise your body temperature once a day. Monitor your temperature though so you don't go overboard.

  • i no a way beta way cut it into pill size bits then swallow with milk..

  • What do you think of that doctor with the funney head and the died black hair saying that Garlic is poison? By the way I eat garlic when ever I can. I usually put about three or for bulbs in with my prawns but the funney thing is my friends say they can never smell off of me. Cant eat it raw though.

    Chris

    From Ireland.

  • i eat garlic with a 40 of king cobra... using this method i have ate 40 - 50 cloves of garlic at one time... i dont chew it up thoroughly but i chew it up enough to get the full effect... if you dont drink i dont recommend it... but i do so i do it

  • I just ate a full clove raw, chewed that shit and swallowed it.

God it was brutal. Worse than a shot of everclear.

    It felt manly though.

  • @Piklethedoodad

Don't torture yourself! (unless that was your intention) Putting it in salsa or mayonaise takes 80% of the burn away. I've done about 20 cloves in the last two days because I felt a cold coming on. As usual the cold is gone before it even got a chance to take hold.

  • @Piklethedoodad I eat it everyday and I always feel like the hulk when i do it. however, i love spicy food - the hotter the better - so i don't mind it much.

  • @Piklethedoodad i did to. i am supposed to eat a pound a day that and pound of onion it sucks but i got for strength and cardio training.

  • perfect, just what I was looking for, fighting off a bad case of bronchitis right now and was reading into eating garlic to help in the battle. Going to try in in salsa when I get home. Thanks for the video.

  • @nyinfamous2k2

Funny...as I read your post I am currently downing 10 LARGE cloves mixed in Salsa. Got a slight cold and i need it gone ASAP.

  • thank you for the information Sir, and i read in a books if eats raw garlic that it will affect our teeth's is that true ?

  • @ershad85

I read a few books on garlic. I think they may have mentioned that garlic help prevent bacteria beneath the gumline. It's a natural antibiotic so that would make sense

  • how long you wer eating Garlic. how do u feel it ? i just start eating fried garlic week ago mix with some salt.

  • @ershad85

I've been eating garlic for years. It doesn't make me "feel" any different. All the research I have done on it tells me that it is one of nature's greatest preventitive medicines though. I eat it mostly to ward off future health problems. The only immediate effect I notice is when I have a cold. Garlic kills it off in a VERY short time. I've also used it to kill warts....works in a matter of days. It MUSt be eaten raw though.....heat kills the magic.
