Facebook is actually made so Its hard to completly get off it. If you deactivate your account it does nothing but not let other view your page and if you ever get the urge to go back on its the same as if you never left. All you have to do is sign back in and its like you never left. I defriended everyone and deleted all my pictures but I still have traces on the site because its not plausible to delete every comment and tag and make you friends take down photos of you. Its a bullshit.

I deleted mine. For those of you who want to delete yours, make sure you delete it permanently and not "deactivate" it. You are still there if you deactivate it. Search youtube on how to permanently delete yours.
I'd like to see some real evidence that the police are arresting people for infractions using FB. Personally, I clear my friend list fairly often anyway. Facebook isn't a problem if you don't put all your information. I use it to get news out there and to notify a large amount of people about things at one time.

Dice there are a lot of privacy controls that you can use to control exactly who gets to see what information on your page. I understand the concern about sharing your info, but FB does have a lot of options they don't even talk about - probably because they don't want you to know it's possible to shut people out while still remaining their "friend." I want as many people as possible to get my political messages so I keep them on as friends but hide photos, info, personal info, etc.
Facebook, Google and YouTube is owned by the Military. These people already have a dossier on EVERYBODY'S business by now. Of COURSE they want you to clean up the account ~ YOU are ALREADY monitored and documented. They know how you think, and what you are up to.

I dont do Fakebook. I have lived my life for REAL friends, REAL connections,REAL sincerity. The cyber world only takes from your real world, and you eventually forget how to earn a new friend, or how to converse with strangers. Just ride the subway or a train. If you talk you are a pain in the people around you's butts, because they are in cyber world, no longer reachable by a human voice. Once you delete your facebook, you will soon realize how little of importance it was to you. I had a facebook profile for a little over 2 years. I deleted it last November and I didnt even miss it one bit.

I deleted mine. For those of you who want to delete yours, make sure you delete it permanently and not "deactivate" it. You are still there if you deactivate it. Search youtube on how to permanently delete yours.

I'd like to see some real evidence that the police are arresting people for infractions using FB. Personally, I clear my friend list fairly often anyway. If I haven't had contact with someone for a while and don't know 'em that well, they're history. If you're a friend collector, you deserve to get robbed. I have to say that things don't seem quite so Orwellian here in UK as USA. My apartment did get raided by the rozzers about 6 mnths ago; but they'd got the wrong apt. It was before I moved in.

Facebook is NWO.. but so is Google/Youtube that you're using now. I look at it as another place where the sheeple are congregating so it presents opportunity to help wake them up. I don't usually post anything personal but I do post lots of informative videos/ news feeds for the masses to watch.

Nice work creating this infomerical. Good points, nice sound effects. However, if I wanted to defriend anyone I would choose to do this when I wanted to do it and not because I was being conditioned to do it on a special day where a massive number of citizens were doing the same thing. I am not a follower. I don't like to react and make quick decisions either. That would be impulsive. People always end up finding themselves being controlled this way or that way.

Dice there are a lot of privacy controls that you can use to control exactly who gets to see what information on your page. I understand the concern about sharing your info, but FB does have a lot of options they don't even talk about - probably because they don't want you to know it's possible to shut people out while still remaining their "friend." I want as many people as possible to get my political messages so I keep them on as friends but hide photos, info, personal info, etc.

Though I think Dice is an idiot, I do agree with this message. Everyone I know on there has 'friends' that they've never even met as far as I've seen.
I actually stopped using facebook myself a while ago for the most part. All that's left if my profile just sitting there. I just get e-mail notifications for both private messages sent to me, and event invitations.

If your so paranoid of the such things, you may want to terminate your phone as well and burn your mail. When the first phones were introduce to the mass public, they had the exact same reaction.

I dont do Fakebook. I have lived my life for REAL friends, REAL connections,REAL sincerity. The cyber world only takes from your real world, and you eventually forget how to earn a new friend, or how to converse with strangers. Just ride the subway or a train. If you talk you are a pain in the people around you's butts, because they are in cyber world, no longer reachable by a human voice. And to think we all long for acceptance, but now have the lost the path to it.

Hey!!! I tried to friend you but couldnt. I have noticed that it is a great database of valuable information and brilliant way to gain unbelievable intel on everything about a person. But for someone like me who has lived under the microscope for so long i find it a way to express my true self. For some of us I think more exposure is better than being secretive. I always had the fear of being paraded through the media like gerald lee loughner or some other mental patient. So im being visible.:-)

Those idiots would have to hack my FB page or get a warrant to see it. It's called security folks. FB has options to where someone NOT on your friends list can't see ANYTHING! they also have friends profiles. If you have people on your list that you don't know set up a friend profile and only share what you want to share with these people. I have hundreds of people I added for games, but I put them in a limited profile. I added them for a game they do not need to know the goings on in my life.
