I love this movie so much, the first time I saw it I fell in love. I love August Rush's parents together because they both have different musical backgrounds and style and I love how they love each other regardless and they both found each other and their son through the music, this is so AWESOME.

She can so not play the cello but why make it that obvious? And the beginning has some slight changes too. I hate it when people who don't know anyhing about classical music just go and make a movie about it. Seriously, she isn't even holding the bow in the right way

@GRAYNAYED My main complaint is the fact that her hair is on the strings thats the dead give away she isn't playing. This video has major phasing. In the real movie it looks more accurate, still very fake with the hair on the strings. But if I didn't play cello I would really not notice.

To me she doesn't seem like Jacqueline du Pre at all. Maybe it's just because to me it is so obvious that Keri Russell, and Jacqueline was one of the greatest cellists ever, but I also don't think just because she's playing the Elgar necessarily means she's supposed to be like Jacqueline, and it's not like Lyla has MS or anything.
