I can't just handle the fact in these kind of games heroes seems to be okay with the events they have experienced. Example, in House of the Dead 2 you fight huge amount of zombies. Zombies who walk, swim or carries weapons like axes, knifes and chainsaws. And face really scary boss characters like Strength, Emperor and Tower. You ask me, I could have gone insane after going halfway through the events of that game if I've actually been there.

@Robobbly It really depends on what ending you receive. One was that Thomas Rogan(player 1 character) goes back to the house and showing Sophie alive, running into the camera saying "Thank you!", or second that shows she became undead, depending on the player's score and the number of continues used.

@Robobbly Not much. Lisa Rogan only said in the beginning of chapter 1 that she promised her mother to bring Thomas back. He was gone missing after chapter 0, it was a level to give an introduction what has happened after House of the Dead 2.

So I assume by that she is in fact alive.

@Robobbly I don't know all the facts, like I said, I assume that's the way things have happened. I have played House of the dead games from 1 to 3. But I really believe it's Sophie because she was Thomas loved one(sorry my bad english). There is no mentioning who this mother is but my money is on Sophie.

@ohmss006 I have a disc, but no chip without it its no use, you need both, the game is installed to the HDD with the chip in the Lind & then you just leave the chip in & the game runs from the HDD.

I like this game, but its kind of hard compared to the old ones because it has hordes of zombies instead of just a couple of zombies at the time. But they give you a machine gun and grenades, so I just its pretty even. Fun game, I can't wait for the next one!

Goldman is shown in The House of the Dead 2 and 4. But Dr.Curien, you see in The House of the Dead 1 and 3. I have played them.

Also, is it just me or do SEGA pull out all the stops if Goldman's the villain and not really bother if the villain is Curien? (See HOTD3 for last appearance of Curien, which I think would have been LOADS better if it wasn't for those cutesy-style images for the prototype of HOTD III.)
