For those who don't know,Hey Hey It's Saturday was a kids show that began in the 70s.In the 80s it switched to a nighttime slot as it was a cult hit with adults due to its risque humour & anarchic unstructured format.. It was sort of a cheapie variety show that went out live,somewhere between a tonight show & Saturday Night Live w/o a script.It had a 'Gong Show' type segment where Red Symons,former Guitarist with Skyhooks was the snarky judge.They tried w/o success recently to bring it back.
