I've been fighting this boss for 4 hours now and still can't manage to beat him!!! I'm about to give up, and ideas???

For everyone wondering how you see the hp, you obviously must me Kingdom Hearts first-timers. I'm sure you know if you pay attention that after defeating certain bosses and leveling up, you receive many things including abilities. Before engaging it battle with Cerberus, I headed to Traverse Town and into the Second District. I spent over an hour there defeating Heartless and leveling up. At around level 15, you are awarded Scan which only takes one AP. This ability allows you to see a foe's HP

You could also hid underneath him when he shoots the fireballs... but your way works fine XDD

so i beat him at lvl 10, donald, lvl 8, goofy 12, after 4 hours of hard restarting, i followed this vid, had to use one potion and beat him, just dodge him till he goes down then hit him!

If Cerberus did that 'vomiting dark ooze' thing, I simply climbed on his back! It's fun :)

@Sebarau94 it is more of a hit and run boss i was level 15 and beat him and only got hit once (will tell you how if you want to)

Its Looks So Easy. I Been Havinq This Game For

2 years & i stiil havnt beaten this level in a while.

This vid was sort of helpful- I knew you had to dodge and not attack when the dark circles came, but I didn't think dodge roll could work cause they were sprouting up on the ground, so I was jumping which was alot slower and you couldn't see what was on the ground befor you landed. Plus I didn't know you could get on Cerberus's back! Thanks!

Depending on what weapon you choose at the beginning, you may get Scan at lv 9 or a few level ups later.
