Anyway, this is my interpretation: Miku's mom abuses her because Miku's dad died. Miku sees a picture of themselves while holding her beloved doll, and remembers her good memories(the story book being the past). Im guessing she got so sick of it that she became insane and killed her mom and ate a part each day(having dinner all alone). But thats my opinion.

(I think the cluttering noise in the beginning was noise from Miku being abused)
