I think they don't smile as much as they used to cause paparazzi and gossip magazines have treated them with very little respect. Gossip magazines lie about them and try to make them look bad cause that makes people buy gossip magazines.

omg she is kiding her face because when the paparazzi gets a picture of her they put it in a magazine the next day saying shes on drugs or something stupid. I am really great friends with Miranda Cosgrove and other famous people and they have crazy paparazzi on their backs. Its to the point where you can see anything. I am an actress too and I neevr want that much paps they get in the way sometimes

It probably does bother her sometimes. After all, for over 20 years paparazzi have been chasing them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, snapping their pictures wherever they are, whatever they do, from behind columns, from within bushes, from just outside the windows of their house.
