no really as simple as this,you can not use any oil,you can not use beef fat oil at all,it has to be veg oil,its has to be filtered and it has to be dewatered,not hard to do and worth the hassle if you are getting it for free or a very low price,ie £0.25 approx a ltr,do not use chip shop oil in your car this tends to be beef fat oil or lard,this will choke your fuel system and be a costly exercise,you do not pay fuel duty on your first 2500 ltrs,that around 20k miles for a normal car.

I always clean mine first- I just set up a barrel to barrel system thats gravity fed. I run from one barrel to the other and go through a funnel with- wait for it- a pair of old socks, then a tea strainer then some micro fibre filter paper then it runs clenaed into a barrel. Some people dry theirs too but I've never had any problems so it just goes straight in. Remember to use a 50/50 mix of diesel at first though just to be sure.
Everybody knows that the government in the UK scamms you for TAX for farting. I've looked into leaving the UK for Australia. TAX TAX TAX. My last car ran on LPG GAS, the government is slowly but surely adding more TAX to that. The government say it want to to go green but at the same time they TAX us for trying. It does work with oil as I know a guy who runs his renault on oil mixed with a bit of diesel.
