@delin4 well only for pvp depends, all of them are good, of course if u know how to use it, about lvling: templar is best killing mobs, gladiator is a bit faster but expensive, cuz of lower p def, assassin is the best on questing, due to hide skills which can jump aggressive monsters, and spiritmaster is cheap about the equipment, because the summon does the most at the time of lvling

Hmm... I guess this level Templars can't really do much... Trust me, when you get 25 you'll see what i'm talking about. LOL.

And yes, a templar should use Sword/shild and a Greatsword, depending on the situation. The best manastone you can have is Critical Mana stones, put some blocks on your shield to counter more often... That's what i do at least.

templar is really important in a quest group. a good templar must be able to protect cleric from getting killed.. I played this game as cleric, and sometimes, when I was in group quest, often I ended up being in the same group with a bloody stupid retard templar

I get killed many often, even tough I was at the back of the group and all the enemy just in front of us and try to run while stun the enemy. but, as you know cleric was defenseless against the enemy..

Very nice quality and easy to watch video... a bit slow paced but it gives a good feel of the Templar gameplay in this level range. People interested in playing this class should know that higher level (35+) Templars are quite capable of impressive DPS while solo grinding/questing. Even at level 25 the class picks up quite a bit.

At that level, crit means nothing. I'd suggest saving those stones for lataer on, or if they're really low, sell them on the Broker and get higher leveled stones when they really matter (meaning, when you get a set of armor you know you'll have for a long time, past lvl 20)

stack phys crit for lvling, U will not do tons of damage but you will kill fast and take less than 5% hp dmg if play right :P

BTW when using manastones always gear up with Attack manastones or critical, i recommend attack cuz its cheaper and in higher level stigmas that uses earth magic, when you change to your extendable mace that uses more range of damage than critical youll pwnn so much!!!!!!

but still....if 2 gigs more of ram would help alot more (especially when an area is packed) let me know. i got 2g's atm of ram. if 2 more would make a big difference...(not so much in the graphical area but in the evenness of the FPS) its a turn off about a game when the fps bounces from 20 to 40 to 30 to 50 to 15 and all over the place. idk. i got nTune for my laptop to overclock and customize my performance more so that helped me alot i guess. i tweak alot. i need to know if ram will help tho

Pre 20s every class takes about the same time to kill mobs. It's post 35 that you'll notice pretty much every class kills at least 50% faster than a templar. For those that think templars are no good in PvP, check the youtube videos on the 3v3 and 1v1 pvp tournaments. You'll see how Templars are the class that pretty much dominates at level 50 in 1v1 combat.

Aion is running on a much better game engine then WoW, which allows the game to have brilliant graphics without making your PC work for it.

lag is not made from HD space lag is your ping or latency wich is how long it takes for u to talk to server and server back to u...

and choppy would just be your fps .. u could get choppy fps if your hd is really full crappy and running many programs at once but thats about it

Not really showing what a templar can do when i can take a mob down in half the tiem at your level as a templar and probs have less damage done to me as well, and i dont use rage but i have 0 downtime coz if im low on health i still attacka nd use rage and heal during rage if im really going to die, get better gear seriously, coz im hitting 300s at your level and the odd crit i hit is 700-800 :|

Any templar not using a GS is gimping themselves, GS for regular attacks, switch to SnB for shield counters or when all other CD's are on.

In PvP GS is for ripping up casters, SnB for other Melee classes mostly, although GS has its uses still.

A good templar should be able to use GS and sword and board or mace when its more useful:

1.- PvP solo vs any class that melees shield+1h

2.-PvP vs mage class GS ALWAYS!

3- PVE solo u choose, i recommend shield

4.-PVE group always shield always

5.-PVP group depends in your opponents but when youre ganking someone use greatsword, and if it counterattacks change to shield

Templar doesn't have healing spells he has some sort of passive regen ability :) but u can allways use bandages :D or a cleric od chanter to heal ya :P ... btw what's the name of thins song ...?? :3

Wrong. Templar has at least 3 healing stigmas. They're just later on in the game.  One's a 2500hp heal, one's healing over time, and one's leech hp from enemy.

well yes he has but stigmat's aren't his actual skills u don't learn them like the other skills u use some stones to learn them and u can remove them whenever u want so u can't actually call them skills or so i'v heared from others so dunno . But at first i was sure that templar had healing spells till i heared about the stigmat's but it doesn't matter that much :P use pots bandages heal from cleric / chanter eat ... u'll get heald eventually :D .
