I think ur definitely a good player. Nd ur probably better than me so i prob dun have the right to give u advice but I noticed that u fold ur arm too early on ur followthru of ur forehand. What I mean is that u dun extend ur arm all the way out to fully decelerate ur arm, instead ur relying on ur elbows to bend to slow down ur hitting arm. doing this will result in not enough shoulder turn. Thts all. U dun have to listen to me but it's just sumthing to think about.

Lol I know I'm gonna get flamed heavily for this but if your ranked 5 in your state then it must not be competitive. I've seen asian girls at my club that were only ranked like 400 nationally that would embarass you and they are only 15 years old. btw how many times did you need to retape it to get it the exact desired outcome for those shots.

Oh, well I really could care less about this girl getting into college. I'll humor you, I wanted to see if there were any Junior's going into the world tour that had matches on youtube. This popped right up and I was just curious. However, if she is going for full scholarships in division one, then she better not have hopes up to high. One they only show form and where she hits. I hit better than that during practice with my coach. Let's see how well she handles her nerves in a match.

That's a beautiful backhand you have there, great positioning and footwork, the volley looks very smooth beautiful punching at the ball, the forehand also looks crisp...although i couldnt help notice a few of the balls you hit you fell away from the ball halfway through the stroke...therefore the ball went up...just a little tip...other then that it looks really great! all the very best!

The consistency of the groundstrokes can only be depended upon so much before someone else who can hit the ball back at better angles and higher speeds wins. There's tenacity and hesistance in the footwork at times right before impact on the backhand for instance. Overall, unless the footwork improves so that maybe a serve and volley game can be constructed, it wold be difficult to command the court with any baseline shots.

first off her footwork is ok on the backhand.

small steps are very good for positioning all the best do it... nadal djok fed even sometimes.

And you can consistantly control the point from the baseline. the key to that is in your footwork, and because you dont have a grasp on what good footwork is, you didnt know that.

Her serve is very good, no extremely good but I wouldn't say that her strokes are that special even I can hit that well and I don't play 4 a club, her consistancy is excellent and I wish her luck for the future.

Anyone who has played juniors tennis would recognize the superb quality of the ground strokes and footwork here. Filming indoors would have made this video far more impressive to viewers (due to echo).

In college, have a backup plan. Tennis is a very fickle sport and its viability as a profession above and beyond collegiate levels is very suspect, even for the very best. Few, if any, of the top-ranked USTA juniors are able to make a career out of tennis.

good all aroung game the footwork is the key to it all watch how she constantly moves after every shot. The only thing she could use work on is the power of her her volleys, groundstrokes and serves come on i am 12 and i probably can hit the ball harder than that. Go to USTA tournaments ranking home and look up christian garay in the boys 12u in the georgia section i am 4 in the state
