  • wish I could get one but I live in US... I want a Diesel hilux (tacoma) I would also like to put a Diesel in a 4 runner (hulux surf). Either would be awesome. I wish the US would start using more Diesel powered cars. For some reason we think that gas is better for the environment or something so we use gas powered cars. so dumb.

  • how much does it cost to put a turbo in?

  • Was that just a 2.8d non turbo? I'm about to purchase one and wondering if the non turbo's still have a bit of go?

  • @RobCatDog Yes mate its just a standard 2.8D here in this video. They are not a bad engine. plenty of torque for four wheel driving. It was only last year i put the turbo on it.

  • @Snipermick1975 When you put the turbo on did you replace the engine or put the turbo on the existing engine?

  • nice video man where are from

  • @raulnf81 Queensland Australia mate

  • love the truck, needs to air down the tires

  • very nice truck mate

  • nice video mate. i have a 95 hilux 2.8d sr5. havnt taken it out bush yet, i have to pimp it out first. nothing serious just some bigger tires spottys and a CB

  • awsome hilux, I've got the same one with a 4inch lift and 31inch tyres, what lift and tyres do you have?

  • damn man i still cant get over how sick that yota is!

in america we get 'tacomas' which is hiluz basically just with a different name. but i wll say australia and the rest of world get better quality toyota pickups than we do in america. anyways the 4 door part of the truck looks like a 98 tacoma but the bed and the logo in the back looks like an 86. so its like a combo of the two.

  • What year is the toyo?

  • its a 1995.

  • is it 2.4D or TD?

Looking at 98 model, but some say engine has head issues.

  • oh it's 2.8

  • Jeez, you made it look too easy! The climb doesn't look that difficult, but I've been there and know what it's like. It took us good 40 minutes to climb that hill!

  • Cheers mate...its one of my fav spots..6stager is the best..Heading back down in 2 weeks to do it again.

  • done well mate keep the videos coming

  • yeah mate just a little one...lol...3 inch springs, 2" extended shackles, 2" body lift,1" blocks with 3DEG wedges on front and 1" blocks on the rear diff. In this video im running 36" super swampser..the only thing needed that i dont have on is 2" wheel spacers as the tyres touch the chassis with extended suspsension travel. I also have 6" lift rancho 9000's fitted.

  • u got lift kit on that car?
