@richTbiscuitsUK Mine are not that great. They do offer a better ride on the street, and grip better on the street than knobbies, but are not lasting long, and are very slick in about any condition off road. I was on some hard packed dirt road the other day, and this was the first time they hooked up on anything other than the street.

Still not too impressed with this video... I mean, the YZ is a lighter bike with about the same horse power, and people are surprised when it's faster? Uh... Yeah...
@Tibarus yea im not surprized by the results either but the drz would catch it on the top end just like i can keep up with my friends 450exc on my 250sxf but as soon as i hit 6th and top out he passes me like im not moving the yz is a motox bike desighned for fast acceleration the drz is a dual sport bike for trails and street
I own a DRZ400E and a WR250F which is similar to the YZ250F, me and my son have race them both from a dead Stop and from a roll, on dirt and on pavement and the WR250F had no problem keeping up with the DRZ400. We even traded bikes and the results were the same. The DRZ is a Smooth torquie workhorse but the WR250 engine is far more technically advanced than the engine on the DRZ400 and the horsepower of the 2 motors is very close but the WR is lighter
@rocknrollohio the wr250f has like 30 pound extra tho doesnt it cause its not a moto its a trail bike with battery and electric start and all that crap but yeah my buddy has a drz400 and its a fast bike
@gshdrums. No. It won't, I own a drz400sm and have just rode a wr250f and the there is no comparison, the wr has more power, much better responce, it's lighter and revier, just all round better, drz is easier to live with especially on the street and probably has more torque
@hgjisnfdlishdjthlre Ive ridden them both also now, the 250F is zippy so to speak, but the 400 more ballsy....with the same gearing...i think the 400 may take it
yea dude just built it, it has lights, and things that give you ur time at 400 ft. It has trails and stuff around it but thats the coolest thing. When i was there last time it had a 4 wheeler running alcohol it was BAD ASS
I typed YZ250 in the searchbar expecting 2 strokes and this came up. I guess if that was a 2 stroke it would of totally smoked that 400 by a long ways.
ya if you can find one with a bottom end that still works.live in the now dude 2 strokes are all done.and by the looks of your name your got a yamawho 250,not a cr 500
hey dumshit, go to a local race. 2 strokes are still alive especially in the 250 class! now that AMA switched up the amatuer rules, 250F's run with 250 "chainsaws", giving the McCullocks" an insane advantage. Educate yourself before you post!
That DRZ should stomp that YZ. It's all about the rider

A 250 2-stroke beats a 400 4-stroke? Big whoop, rookie! Try racing against a RM250 and see how you do.
