  • it's like some place here in the Philippines. and yeah internet right now help most people to have extra money and jobs.

-- that's really a good entrepreneur! if you want to success you have to try!

  • Free Market Ghana! go!

  • it is not rite how they project africa 2 b such a bad place. a lot of placess in africa r nicer than in america.

  • i agree with ashley11993and xxShAniBOOXx.Finally someone knows the right idea

  • What are the things the world should do to help these people?

  • The video is inspiring, a few years ago I posted singing praise for this wonderful business. Upon return to Ghana, Busy is not what it used to be with negative changes that could be reversed:

    1. poor customer service by some employees who are just doing the job without concern about customer satisfaction.

    2. Its no longer 24 hours a day

    3. Laptops can no longer use ethernet, now only an unusably slow wifi for them

    4. Computers are becoming old and outdated.

    5. Cafe and food services are gone

  • There is nothing negative about this clip. Ghanians are business people more so than Americans who rely on a company to hire them. What if Americans never had that option like the Ghanians?? This video is inspiring!

  • Sorry but internet Caffe's are NOT the way forward in Africa , especially Ghana. What we need is reliable, fast and affordable internet in each and every home. Though the Incubator program is a laudable Idea. I will right personally to Ms.Adjetey Sowah to explain my position.

  • @justfourthen -My dear we are MOVING FORWARD ...thx to Expresso Telecom nd Other internet services each ghanaian home can purchase an internet modem for cheap...so we thx God..he has made a way...God Bless u..nd od Bless Ghana!!

  • @TheMZLEXUS My friend, I will like you to back it up with some statistics , the mere fact that some internet services offer internet in the homes does not make any significant difference. As far as I know Africa online started the internet home services as far back as 97. Even Busy Internet offers it.Secondly many internet services still offer obsolete dial up services , where by in the advance countries internet is used fast fibre-optic channels that make transmission of information faster.

  • @justfourthen -Very true ...Thx for the reminder bcs honestly I totally forgot about services such as dial up nd fibre-optic...I agree we need faster nd more sufficient internet serivice.

  • Ghana will prosper... MARK MY WORDS

  • Ghana, Uganda, Rwanda - same freakin mess in Sub-Saharan Africa, short of the infrastructure provided by whites. Unless you've been to Africa, then you can't fathom the true poverty, corruption, and utter disorganization.

  • @uncleflaco

You are the typical western ignoramus fool. Be happy you are on top of the food chain for now my friend. We are now entering a multipolar world. Your people ascended 150 years ago, after their industrial revolution. Now other men have acquired the technological know how. You can now say sub-saharan africa is disorganized after imperialist grandaddy destroyed organic african institutions and states, no ashante, no benin, no hausa states, no zulu. They weren't a disorganized mess.

  • @uncleflaco surprise, surprise another fooll trying to claim credit for whites doing fuck all in Africa. Shame you and others like u aren't as "eager" to jump onto African vids to claim credit for the despots and land and mineral grabs of the continent given to us so "kindly" by benevolant whites... you might sound a bit more credible instead of sounding like a arrogant "shit stirrer".

  • what ever they show about africa does not make them angry but it lift their spirits to do more for their countres and guess what am half ghanian and american. so call me what ever u wanna call me .

  • shit,i m from ukreine bt i wad in Ghana just 1 week, its not alot time bt i really love ghana and its not very same to Accra really,if say siriosly Ghana better than Ukraine and i dont belive that in this vidio truth

  • it seems very developed country from streets. ((::

  • 1. no scammers in busy, its being nonstop checked!

    2. busy was the first proper internet caffee in Ghana, they have started the boost of cafees,

    3. CEO is a GH, the new one is Indian, we tried to find a suitable Ghanian but failed (I was part of the process)

    4. the capital is UK+GH, 2 Ghanaian banks own a great share

    5. all they say is true, no bs

    6. if you have no electricity at home, go to busy - thats how is accra

    7. if you are showing a video on Developing, you show the target areas, wake up

  • does anyone know what the word "adupe" means in any akan language?

  • Busy Internet: incubator for scammers

  • I agree wit u guys

  • U guys are doing an awsome job for my fellow brothers and sisters am very moved . KUDOS AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

  • My goal 1 day is to create jobs in ghana & affordabvle real estate for many. I'm 26 now, and altho nothin is goin for me now. It will happen and we'll be the nation to beat in everything. As for technology am not so much for it. I believe natural things r best. especially manuall labor, it creates much need people for work. technology is what takes things away. i believe in me and i believe in ghana. It will Happen. and it will be.

  • Kick the europeans out of ghana, have'nt they fucked up africa enough?

  • l want to see ghananians running the biz-the incubator,, for once in my lifetime when will it be//

  • thats the white person for u bcos it kind if pathetic to see that

  • Hi,

What will 1 Ghana dollar buy you ... want to travel there on Australian dollars?

  • Ghana's currency is called cedis. The last time I was in Ghana, 9600 cedis was about the equivalent of 1 American dollar, and if you were eating local food 9600 cedis was enough to buy you three meals.

I hope that helps some, haha.

  • Does bizzy internet provide work to ppl?gosh!

  • Fuck bizzy internet!Wat kind of ad is this?could they not have shown better places in Ghana?

    RUBBISH!

  • @diamonds1244 it is not an ad ,it's a documentary

  • if u say so...i hope am wrong....thanks for letting me know.

  • thousands of scammers can be found in ghana....

  • i did bear 419 in this joint!!!l...lol

  • Best wishes and luck to the entrepreneurs in Ghana.

  • This is just Adveritising by BUSY INTERNET......why would ppl sacrifce their country's diginity for a business........... that's effed up in my opinion

  • This is the first I've heard about 'Busy Internet' and the new enterprises in Ghana. But why would you say 'ppl sacrifice their country's dignity for business' ??? I don't understand how people are sacrificing dignity at all. On the contrary... these small businesses are actually working in this new technology enriched environment. What exactly is your problem with this?

  • 1:53

  • they should look at getting wi-max its wirelss and 100 times faster than broadband

  • why da fuck do dey always do dat.........showing da bad parts of africa but not showing the beautiful places like the beach or somthin........wats funny is dat ppl say we africans live on trees which is a lie bcoz we live in cement...HARD BRICKS while ppl in america be livin in wood which came out off trees...no wonder why tornados and hurricanes b blowin ppls houses away and ppl dyin here coz dey live in wood and dey always have da nerve to talk about africa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Ashley11993 in the west we have a certain political party that plays up victimization for power. this un-named party shows it's proponents and target audiences in a pathetic light to gain votes from a public on the grounds that said party will fix the problems of its "pathetic" subjects by giving them free stuff and in no way allowing them to have agency over resources for themselves.

  • why must every body always show the negative side of ghana and africa in general.....ghana is a very beautiful country but no body wants to show the good parts......why?

  • i totaly agree

  • common all viewers of this advertisement from Busy internet or whatever its called.

since when did Ghana had free healthcare and Education and others that made its people became lazy and do nothing for themselves.

And what have the history of Ghana got to do this cheap advert.

am always mad to see people portraying my country(Ghana) and its name in mud. i mean common, free education and healthcare started not long ago through out the country.

and look the places they show!! damn Busy Internet

  • why is a european man and the world bank involved in this? If africans dont want to be like america, which is a slave driving economic society...then they better move clear of "capitalism" in the western or Central Banking sense of it.

    IMPROVE YOUR TRUTH

  • Africa: invest in nuclear power plants! Cheap electricity everywhere! Electric trains, electric cars!

  • and in what solar deprived, wind deprived, water deprived country do u live?

my friend, africa could develop itself based on purely renewable sources. if others countries werent holding them back and giving bad advice Africa could be dependent (and the first continent to do so) on renewable NATURAL materials.

africans arent just about money - they dont discard morals for some £'s unlike most other western countries.

  • You're absolutely right Africa should strive to be the world leader in developing itself along a renewable resource infrastructure. The last thing Africa should do is follow the Western Model! Africa should learn from the West but improve on the model.

  • @romarebearden AGREE

  • I do not like the first speakers characterization of Ghana's past 10 year history. She says,"They sat and did nothing.". I am sure in a place like Ghana, the people didn't just sit and do nothing not under a military regime. She makes it as if the whole country was on welfare. And as a result, the people became lazy. If I did not know and better, I would thing she is using the same argument a lot racist used to describe Black Americans. I can't believe this clip made into the film.

  • Brilliant comment brother well said fully agree, remember they want to keep Africans in the diaspora ignorant.

  • its true the allways wanna show the bad parts of africa and make america look all beutiful when its dum stupid and ugly

  • @k28robinson don't blame her, she probably didn't grow up in ghana-just westerner with african heritage-hate ignorant ppl

  • Kalydosos, you are partially right...industrial revolution...but there is a little dynamic twist, thats abit out of context to discuss...in general...you right

  • Kalydosos, you are partially right...industrial revolution...but there is a little dynamic twist, thats abit out of context to discuss...in general...you right

  • Ghana did not miss the Industrial Revolution it was successfully stopped by the colonialists. One the many wars between the British and the Ashanti was precisely over this reason.

  • what is holding ghana back? why is it not developing as it should be given its natural resources?

  • @josepercudani didn't you hear the man when he said Africa missed the Industrial Revolution? eh? Because we were still being colonized. Your parents are probably older than Ghana, so cut us some slack, we are trying, we can't be a developed country in just a day. Took the U.S centuries to reach where it is today. You think that 50 years after 1776 America was the way it is now?

  • big ups to ghana =]

    im half fanti =]

  • Nice Doc. The most significant thing is this line: "We missed in Africa, the Industrial Revolution". i have never thought of it that way.

Bye the way, my name is Zulfau and i came to the US from Ghana in 1999. It is so nice to see Ghana getting along. As a child in Suyani, i don't remember ever using the computer.

  • This is what can be achieved if we can only work on our dreams. 10 years ago, there was nothing like busyInternet.

  • keep up the good work in Ghana

  • Nice Documentary
