@shavon743 Well number one, the processor won't be big enough, the graphics card that comes with it likely won't be enough to run Fsx on any good settings, and you would have to use a track pad unless you buy a mouse for it. I would by a desktop if I were you.

Weather is updated from airport weather station data. If you'r over the ocean... there aren't any weather stations. No add-on will change that. Of course if you are considering a weather add-on in general, I'd suggest Active Sky.

a problem i had was that the airplane file was in another file, the aircraft folder cannot be in another

ex: 747/747/747/ you must get the basic file which contains the sound,panel and so on. which model are you using and do you know where the 'airplanes' folder is in fsx?

Great Video! REX seems to be the popular vote for weather add-on. Active Sky X says they've looked at hurricane modeling specifically. But as you noted, while out in the ocean the weather data simply doesn't exist. I found that you don't get the type of needed data until the weather reaches US reporting stations. I'd still love to see a well formed eyewall modeled in FS. I'd love to see it for real but not willing to get that close to the real thing:)

It's probably because the flight sim has different weather around each weather station, and there isn't many over the ocean, so the weather would be generally similar in large areas. :-)

hey cessna you dont have to take off with 3/4 flaps all the time you shud take of with 5 or 10 flaps and on small prop planes you dont use any flaps to take off.
